I ordered ahead of time so I wouldn't be late to work. Like I always do. But when I got there, in the pouring rain. The doors were locked, with 2 people working inside, ignoring me as I stood in the rain knocking on the door just trying to figure out why I couldn't get my tea I had ordered. They still ignored me. Which really upset me. Considering I had a time limit and it's RAINING. So I drive around to the drive thru window and sit there. Waiting... time ticking. Finally some girl comes to the window with a note saying "our hrs changed to opening at 7, sorry" Are you kidding? So they took my money and then ignored me instead of being decent human beings and coming to tell me the issue. Knowing it's damn raining outside. Come on. I come here VERY often. Most days at the same time I did this day. I didn't change anything. Neither did yall. I was so upset and mad yall don't understand. Update your hrs of service. Plain and simple. That way people that order ahead on the app like I do, don't get screwed out of their money, or being late to work because of being IGNORED. Did I mention...
Read moreThey are SO SLOW. Whether you go inside or go through the drive thru, the average wait time is at least 10 minutes. Often times after I give my order and they relay it back, it is highly inaccurate, like they weren't even listening to me in the first place. I'm lactose intolerant, and a few times they've been out of soy milk and that is their only dairy alternative option. They have so many problems with their scanner when I try to pay with my phone app. They tried telling me that happens at all the locations, however this is the only location that I've been to that seems to struggle with it. They ALWAYS put the green plastic stoppers in my drink, even when I ask them not to - such a waste. Lastly, I've encountered some truly unpleasant baristas there. Whether they're simply frowning or rolling their eyes at me, I've been offended by more than one at this location. I love Starbucks, but honestly it's gotten so bad I've started driving 10 minutes out of my way to use...
Read moreStarbucks - pretty consistent experience from store to store, right? True here to. Staff is friendly and helpful, even when there is a line. I sometimes meet friends here just because it is midway between us, and we like the coffee and the Wi-Fi. But... the parking is something of an issue. Simply not enough space, and the way this store and other businesses near it are shoe-horned into this chunk of property next to the I-20 on ramp (at Washington Rd) makes it pretty impossible to see how they could have done it better, but it is still just not enough parking. I've sometimes had to idle in my car waiting for someone to leave, which usually isn't too long because mostly people don't hang out at Starbucks that much. Traffic is a little bit of a tangle for the same reason - they squeezed pretty hard to get all these businesses onto this parcel. Don't risk driving your Super Crew, extended bed...
