Waffle House — Restaurant in Augusta

Some people when they're craving breakfast want something fancy, some people just want something tasty. When you come to Waffle House you know what you're going to get. No frills just plain good food at a great price. Great service with friendly staff. If you're hungry, I mean really hungry and want to spend under $10 on breakfast you could order hashbrowns and put an assortment of items to include sausage gravy, jalapeños, onions, mushrooms, chili, cheese, eggs, steak (as in cheese steak meat) and a few other things. Or you could get them all. I've order a double order of hashbrowns with quite a few of those items ans believe me, I left beyond stuffed and I spent under $10. I didn't even need to eat anything else until dinner time. I would say if you're hungry and looking for something affordable...

My family has eaten at this location for 30yrs; never a bad experience. We visited this location Sunday 6/8/25 at 5:am. IT WAS HORRIBLE!! Pulled into parking lot, aroma of marijuana in the air, most employees were outside smoking, came in and did not wash hands. NO CLEAN TABLES OR BAR TOP. The kitchen was disgusting. Our server could not seem to get our order correct after several attempts so the cook ask. It took the cook 4 attempts to cook the eggs correctly, as we were sitting at the bar top and watched. After 22 minutes, our food arrived cold and incorrect. We had just referenced that location as the best Waffle House in Augusta, what a mistake! That was the WORST experience...

I normally don’t have an issue here and I eat here rather frequently. But my last couple of visits including today, have been rather disappointing. I literally just left. My friend and I sat there about 15 minutes, and we were not even acknowledged. Not once. No one spoke. No one even bothered to at least take our drink order or say hey “ there might be a bit of a wait” or something. It wasn’t like the place was packed. And as we left, still no one acknowledged. People will always come I suppose, so it’s not like our business matters much🤷🏽‍♀️. We went to the Waffle House down the street and were greeted before we even made to a table. A little...
