Burger King — Restaurant in Aurora Township

This was my first time and THIS will be my last time ever going to this Burger King again!! I waited 10 minutes just to get helped mind you there was no line!! Instead of helping customers they were too busy chitchatting among themselves!! After I finally was helped I had to wait an additional 15 minutes just to receive my food silly me did not check the bag I get all the way home where I live 15 to 20 minutes away just to realize these unique pathetic souls did not give me my meal they only gave me my sons meal!! I called to complain no one picks up it’s automated system telling you to leave a message you have to be kidding me right now!! I have never called an establishment and have an automated service Pick up and ask you to leave your name number and they will call you back!! Now if they can’t even get my food right what makes you think that I am secure enough to leave my information so they can even respond where they are not even responsible enough to even pick up the store phone when it is ringing!!! I love BK...but not this one. It is old and looks like it hasn't been updated in over a decade. Other than taking out the playground. The bathrooms are gross. I visited this location twice in the last month. The first time I got my food and it was overcooked and seemed to have been sitting around for a while as it wasn't even hot when I got it to the table. But only having 30 min for lunch I ate it. I decided to give it another try hoping that it was just a one time bad experience. Nope. My 2nd visit I ordered the same thing with cheese this time. Again it was over cooked, old and not even warm enough to melt the cheese. I was so aggravated I wanted to complain but again I only have 30 min so I dealt with it. This place needs an owner willing to put some money into it to bring it back to life. Oh yeah, both visits I was 1 of about 3 or 4 people there at prime lunch time. I got two whopper meals. One for me and one for my wife and I took them home. About halfway through dinner my wife said she didn’t feel good and ran to the bathroom and threw up. I took care of my wife then went back to the store with her half eaten food and explained the situation. I was concerned maybe something was on her burger that made her sick. The manager just said the whopper was perfect and nothing was wrong with it. She said it over and over again. Ultimately I got a refund on my wife’s whopper but not the rest of her meal.

The worst part for me was the manager being so rude and defensive. The proper response should be “I’m so sorry that happened. Is she ok? I can refund her food. I hope she feels better.”

I work with the public as well and can’t imagine responding that way when the food makes...
