Homemade with Love inc. — Restaurant in Aurora Township

We saw this place on TikTok and instant fell in love especially my daughter who loves conchas ! We drove 20 minutes and got there about 1pm. We were looking at the concha flavors when a worker told us they were sold out of conchas so we decided to get 3 frappes. When we were waiting customers that came in after us were told that they only had one flavor of conchas left if they wanted them but we were told that they were sold out? It was very upsetting since my daughter would have loved any of the flavors they had left over but only us were told they were sold out. So after we order we wait about 15 minutes ( understandable there were other customers there ) we were given only 2 drinks and I was by this time we were in there for 21 mins and every other customer left except us even the ones that were here after. I see the workers already starting to clean so I go up and let one worker know I got three frappes and before even checking she proceeded to tell me that I only paid for 2, I gave her a look of confusion because I know I didn’t pay $16-$17 for 2 drinks, then she says “ I can pull up your receipt “. She didn’t even apologize and just asked “ so what flavor do you want the same one “ . Me being in the hospitality and restaurant business for many years I was extremely disappointed on this visit. And in my honest opinion waiting 21 mins for 3 frappes that taste more like milk than coffee or the flavor we picked...

It’s been a couple weeks since my initial visit to Homemade with Love, but I had to write about my experience!

I drove around an hour to try out these concha’s and drinks that I first saw on social media, and let me tell you.. it blew my expectations out of the water, first off, the presentation of ALL the concha’s are simply a work of art, and the taste definitely delivers the same way!

Their base concha is extremely soft and flavorful, and when you get one of the gourmet ones, such as Oreo or Biscoff, you’ll be blown away at how the flavors mix together so perfectly.

Along with the dozen concha’s I got, I ordered two of their drinks! One was a tiramisu coffee, and the other was a banana coffee drink. The coffee flavor was strong and just right, balanced perfectly by the sweetness of the added syrups/flavorings they use.

One last thing I’ll mention is the service, I had absolutely no issue with the two ladies who were working, they were extremely kind and greeted us upon entering the store and exiting.

I found this place through social media and was so excited to go. I got there around 11 am and there was no line. I told the girl to give me a minute since it was my first time. Once i start ordering the coffee and asked for a concha she tells me they had did not have any conchas or mini conchas and they next batch will be available at 1pm. I asked her if I can pre order and she said no because she did not know what kind of conchas they will be preparing. As I am waiting for my coffee I see people getting their conchas. I assumed pre ordered. I leave the store come back around 12:45 and they couple in front asked about the conchas and she gave them a list of what they can order and told them they will be ready at 1:45.
