Dillon's Dumpling House — Restaurant in Aurora

Have been here 3 times since they opened. Small family owned business, the husband runs Front of House, wife cooks Back of House and the kids are helping wherever they can.

I am Asian, so I am picky when it comes to quality dumplings! My husband and I tried most of the dimsum/xiaolongbao/dumplings on the menu and so far not one had disappointed us! Everything is reasonably priced and we love that there’s a good dumpling place right next to home.

1st time(1week after opening): We did take out and ordered in restaurant because it was near closing time. Everything was there and was still hot/warm when we got home. I would recommend eating the Xiao Long Bao immediately, as the soup can absorb into the wrapping over time, understandable.

2nd time(mid June): dined in, no wait. Realized there’s MORE options of just Chinese food on the menu and got beef broccoli. With a variety of dumplings of course. Everything was delicious!

3rd time(07/06): brought my brother with us. Packed but was able to be sat within 5 minutes. He loved it! He got the variety tray of Xiao long Bao, dim sum. We also got a variety of Xiao long bao and dumplings as well as their jalapeño chicken. Everything just as good as expected.

We got this ordered for delivery. The pork buns were more doughy-bun than pork.

The chicken lo-mein was visited by a few vegetables and/or seasonings. But, the dish was swimming in flavored oil and a fork-twisting bed of probably spaghetti--though unsure--noodles, and with some dry chicken pieces.

The garlic Xiao long bao was great in it's to-go version.

The hot and sour soup potion we received was plentiful. However, it seems like we were given the broth off the top with nothing more.

Despite our intentions to support somewhere close, we did not receive the delivery we very much looked forward to being delivered.

Came here with a group of nine and it was okay. The food was delicious. The place was clean and people where nice, but I would not recommend coming here with large groups. We all ordered different things and The first plate was out in 15 minutes and the last plate was at least 30 minutes later. Everyone was basically done eating by the time I got my dumplings. If you have a large group I would not come here. If it is just two of you this is a nice place to go with good food.
