Smashburger — Restaurant in Aurora

Lovely experience! It wasn't busy at all, the employees were so kind and polite throughout the time we were there and the food was amazing, I definitely reccomend one of their signature burgers if you're starting out and unsure what to get (also their fries are AMAZING in the sense that they are salted just the right amount, but other times they do come off oversalted), but if you have the spare time, just dine in! They'll hand you a number and you place it whatever you wanna sit and after you wait the world is your oyster! All in all, it's a great time and its it a very warm and friendly atmosphere that'll make for a wonderful and joyous experience.

(Updated: As of April 19, 2022): Smashburger was yet again, a lovely time. It's usually only like one person in line when you go in and someone will always be there ready to take your order, which is nice compared to other places where they may be too busy or occupied and you have to do that weird waiting game. But we never usually have that problem here. The staff has always been friendly and has gotten our order right down to the last removal of pickles. Now, however, I've noticed depending on what you order will factor in how long it takes for your food to be ready, such as when I decided to try their chicken sauce, it took like 10 minutes when it usually takes about 5 minutes for them to get our order of just burgers, so beware of that. What I enjoy is that when they call the name of your order (if it's takeout at least), they will let you know if they have included things or sauce, and if they didn't include them, they'll either direct you to the areas that have them or they'll grab them, depending on availability. I think that's very refreshing, especially when usually you have to check yourself and sometimes have to go back and ask or go to their designated area to get them. It just saves time on my behalf and it's greatly appreciated...

I went to this Smashburger to get some lunch for me and some friends.By time my food had arrived, the burger looked absolutely disgusting so I went to ask if they could remake it. There was this employee that was very rude and disrespectful when it came to getting my food. He made my burger like garbage and when I asked them to remake the burger the employee told me to deal with the burger and they can't remake it. The employee was tall had glasses and a nose piercing, I do not know the employees name but I wish I did. There was another employee who was a female I believe she was also a cook, she also had a negative attitude when I asked them to remake my food. I belive the male and female employees are Latino/latinx, I could be wrong but im unsure. These employees just had a very bad attitude and didnt respect what I asked as a costumer. The manager that I seen working in the restaurant at the time did nothing to make sure the employees were listening and understanding my issue. Not only this the manager had a smell and look when he was around he smelled like drugs, he looked like he was under the influence but I cant be to sure. I then left the store with my friends and haven't been back to the restaurant since...

Just not sure what happened here. I came in about 20 mins till closing. Not very polite of me, but I had no other options for a decent burger. I live around the corner in an apartment complex nearby so since it's been years since I've had it I decided to rush down.

I ordered the Buffalo blue cheese burger with 2 patties. I forgot how small these burgers were. 2 patties and still felt less than 1/2 lbs of burger. I made my order to go so I didn't notice anything till I got home. My burger was really salty. I was still able to eat it but I was taking gulps of my soda with every bite. Fries were I places crispy most were soggy. Come to find out why when I reached the bottom.

I'm not even going to comment much on how tired and over worked the cashier appeared as she was doing her closing duties, or the two cooks who appeared to have to break out long put away ingredients or just needed to refill some as with 3 guests in the restaurant it took 20 mins for around 5 burgers with less than an 1/8 in. Patty to be prepared. I've been there. It sucks. Then again so did my $12 meal. Maybe I should have gone a bit further a headed to...
