While I decided to eat dinner here tonight (2/25/17) while on duty, I of course was in my marked police car and in full uniform. When I finally arrived at the counter to be served I was greeted with attitude and an extremely condescending tone from the woman at the register. After she took my order, and was visibly irritated at the mere presence of a police officer in the restaurant, I sat down quietly and said nothing to her about her poor customer service. Once my buzzer went off I went to the counter to retrieve my food. I placed the pager down and went to grab my tray. As I reached for my tray, the same female who took my order kept her hand on my tray and in a very stern manner, demanded that I place the pager in the basket and not leave it on the counter. As she did this she kept her hands on my tray of food and starred at me with a very unfriendly gaze. I then placed the pager in the basket and again said nothing about the way she had just treated me in front of all the other customers standing there, not to mention her coworkers in earshot. Next I sat down and ate my meal thinking about the poor treatment I had been given for no other reason that I can figure out other than the fact that I am a police officer. I decided to check my receipt to see if her name was on it, and it said my host was "Rafael." I did not think her name was Rafael so I asked her for it prior to leaving. Jasmine gave me her name and I then exited the restaurant, again without any confrontation or explaination as to why I was treated in such a way. I have told all my coworkers and my fellow officers in the area about my experience here. My colleagues and I can all agree that our dignity, and our pride in how we serve the citizens of this fine country, will not be effected by people who treat us like Jasmine did me. Another thing we all agree on is the fact that we will NEVER patronize this restaurant again. If I treated Jasmine like that in my official capacity, as she did me, that would be all over social media and on the cover of the local news papers. It's not ok to treat the police like they aren't human. We are people too. Thanks for reading....
Read moreI happened to visit this store yesterday and was appalled by the horrible customer service, rude behavior and total lack of respect towards a customer. This experience was horrifying because I am a Naperville based customer and have a long history of eating out and take outs for my family as a busy IT professional. I am polite and well mannered but thanks to the crude behavior of the individuals involved, I had to act like them and got very upset.
The girl taking my orders completely messed up and gave me the wrong change and either she is new or totally untrained, but had to get the help of a co-worker who has this demeanor that was hostile. Soon a third person of equally bad temperament joined to see if they could find an easy fix, which none of them showed competence to resolve and rudely asked me to wait until they took care of a line that was just forming. They had already wasted about 20 minutes of my time and I said I needed my money back. After some initial reluctance, the guy pulled out money from what he called his called his personal stash and used an “F “word and threw the money at me.
I had no choice but to throw back my change in a similar fashion exactly as he did at which, a comrade of theirs standing behind me in the line reacted to me saying I was rude. Really? After the horrible treatment I received? And who was she to judge after seeing just what she wanted to see?
I reacted to her and then was rudely asked to leave or they would call the cops. I should have been the one calling the cops in the first instance!! Disgraceful!! Horrible! ...
Read moreI ordered from the catering menu for 10 people 24 hours in advance. when I came to get the order I asked for an extra container of garlic sauce, a condiment. I was told that it would cost extra due to the fact that they measure out all condiments for what THEY believe is enough for 10 people. The meat was barely enough for the 5 people who ate the meal. What they refer to as steak was some salty and badly sauced shredded beef. They used to have beef kabob but no more. The other protein/meat was very dried chicken shawarma. They used to have chicken kabob as an option but no more. The falafel was good as was the garlic sauce. Naf Naf used to be good before the new ownership took over. Not coming here again!!
Within a couple of days I was contacted by regional management via email. They apologized and expressed concern over my experience. The prompt response and acknowledgement of the above event began to awaken a positive feeling within. What followed was even more impressive. The company representative then followed up with an offer to make it right. She offered us a 20 person catered event with options to our satisfaction. we took the company up on their offer a couple of days ago. This time all of our expectations were met. The food was excellent and very tasty. Quantities were appropriate and the company was accommodating to our requested selections. We were very happy with the overall outcome and I would personally like to express a FIVE STAR PLUS rating Naf Naf at this time. Their response to a failed event was OUTSTANDING and very...
