La Michoacana Deluxe Ice Cream — Restaurant in Naperville

I went to this shop with my friend and I live in Evanston at that time and we have a La machoicana near my home who have chamoy ice cream in the mangonada. While here I noticed they were putting only chamoy syrup and I asked don’t you have chamoy ice cream. Immediately a pregnant lady emerged from the back and identified as herself as the owner and immediately stated we are a independent shop and we don’t care what they serve at the other shops we have nothing to do with it. I immediately said okay and stayed quiet. But the lady jsut kept talking and talking and talking and kept the conversation in a rude tone and kept “explaining” unnecessarily how they have nothing to do with other shops and they give them a bad name. Me and my friend decided to stay absolutely quiet primarily because we are born very educated medical doctors And she had a very big mouth and she was pregnant so we decided to give her a pass. When it was time to pay the bill she again emerged from the back room and again going at it again. With out any provocation or word being said by us. When she noticed our lack of response and refusal to answer she immediately told the staff to just not charge us and take the ice cream away. At this point we both are very puzzled as to what’s wrong with her. I have given 1000 percent accurate description of the event yes!!! It was that weird and uncomfortable. Lady I don’t care if you are pregnant or you are looking to “vent out” this is not how you speak to customers with out any provocation. Learn your manners and culture. Lemme ask you! There are only over 40 flavors of homemade ice-cream which you could choose from. You could get it in a cup (S, M, or L), in a waffle cone (all kinds), or waffle bowls. You could even get them made into milkshakes. Mix several flavors or get 1.

There are over 8 flavors of homemade yogurt that you could get in a (S, M, or L) cup and mix in fruits and toppings.

There are about 100 flavors of homemade paletas! There are also many lactose-free options of paletas & sorbets. There are also many other things to get too.

I have been here many times since they have opened, I have never experienced such amazing customer service anywhere else. One of the main reasons I continue to come back is the family atmosphere that not only the team has created but also the owner. Every time I walk in I get a warm welcome with smiles from the entire team. The owner has been exceptional she is extremely down to earth and loves to get to know every one of her customers, which I do not see in many other business owners.
