I have been ordering Papa Murphy's for many years and have always been pleased with their quality and prices. Their stores usually run very well even when busy. Unfortunately this was not the case thus time. The pies were made well. I have no complaint about the food. My complaint is with the staff. I ordered two of their eight dollar specials. The person taking the order over the phone repeated it back to me. The pies, eight dollar's each. Upon arrival the store was empty but for one gentleman. The pizza racks were empty but for my two pies. When I was being rung up at the store I was charged $20. I said," pardon me, I ordered the eight dollar special". No even bothering to look at me, the young lady said," those arnt on special any more. It's the New York now", and handed back my card. That was it. No offer. No apology. Not even any eye contact. Just turned around and walked off. I stood there for a moment in dismay, replaying the last few moments through my mind just to make sure I wasn't insane. My first inclination was to call her back and ask for something to be done. I would have been happy with the New York pizza. I wasn't married to the special they had when I ordered over the phone. After a moment's reflection on the young lady's behavior I thought, rightly or not, any protest on my part would be futile. I'm not sure if I have ever posted a bad review regarding anything. This may be petty, but I am terribly disappointed with my interaction at this store, this individual and to a lesser...
Read moreLast night at 8:05pm, I tried to phone order a pizza for the Tuesday $10 deal. The phone rang at least 25 times. I thought maybe they were busy. NO, they weren't busy- they were WANTING TO LEAVE EARLY! When they finally did answer the phone, this is how it went- "We close at 8:30 and are NOT TAKING ANYMORE MORE PHONE ORDERS." I tried to tell them I was outside and could pick up before 8:30pm. Instead of listening, the person repeated, "We close at 8:30pm and no more orders will be taken." That was the end of that call. I looked up another location down the street and was able to order a pizza and picked it up from them. Not only did the other store take my order, they did it with a smile and made one of the best pizzas I've had in awhile. This store has a bad attitude among the employees. I think management needs to change the way they treat their staff. If you have good managers, your staff should be wanting to make money and be rewarded for their efforts. It's a food chain people. Your there to sell a product, not close early so you go home the second the store closes. You close at 8:30pm and clean up until 9:00pm. You sent a customer away and I found another store to buy from. Shame on you for making your staff want to go home early on a SPECIAL DEAL DAY!...

Papa Murphy's covers their pizza with toppings, so there's a 90% chance that you will get a taste of each one of your toppings on every bite. The service level adds to the experience and makes it that much more enjoyable when you get your pizza home. Hopefully they never change! Go get your pizza take it home, bake it and enjoy everything about it, from quality to...
