A drive for GrubHub. Twice now once in the evening and once in the afternoon I have been to this location. When I arrive regardless of the length of the line they are completely oblivious to the order and actually have to search for it in the online orders. Both times the workers have told me it's not even been submitted to the kitchen and it will be 30 minutes to an hour. Now as delivery personnel we only get paid $5 to $7 per order with GrubHub. I'm not working for less than minimum wage here I'm a single mom. GrubHub does not compensate us for waiting more time because of the lack of good business systems at smashburger. So if management is reading this review you need to train your personnel better for organization skills. It did not seem that there was even a manager on staff that knew what they were doing. I know that times are tough but twice in a row more than two months in a part is not a personnel issue it's a training issue. You can always tell a well-organized business by how well trained their people are. Systems prevent mishaps. People waiting for their orders who are for pickup are not getting paid by the pickup. They've made their money for the day. Delivery personnel are being paid very little especially in such a time as this where gas is so expensive. I know GrubHub is taking a lot of the chunk of your profit but you have to update your system and how you put in orders and how you train your personnel. Regardless of whether I'm a delivery driver or whether I am a customer I will probably never come to your location. I've also let GrubHub know this has happened more than once and they have...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I'm a huge Smashburger fan. That said, this wasn't our best Smashburger experience. Delanie (I didn't catch her full name, but my elementary aged daughters assure me that's a right!) at the front counter was extremely friendly, and welcoming.
After we ordered, we sat down, and waited about 10 minutes to get our food... Which was delivered one by one over the course of a 6 minute period. First came the chicken strips, which were pretty well overdone. 2 minutes later, we got a Kidsmash. Another 2 minutes later... Avocado Bacon Club. 2 minutes after that? The 2nd set of chicken strips (i couldn't tell you why they weren't all fired up at the same time).
In all, the burgers were average (which is disappointing considering how much my family typically enjoys Smashburger), and the chicken strips were awful. Unfortunately, even the usually consistent fries were soggy.
The service was friendly, but that is countered with the food being brought out in such an uneven manner.
I'm afraid that even the friendliness and warmth of the cashier couldn't save our experience this trip.
I'm a fan of Smashburger, so the brand alone will bring me back, but another bad experience will force us to go back to the Parker &...
Read moreI tried to come on a Friday, which means they close at 10pm. I found this out both by looking online prior to coming and by looking on the door when I got there. I was rushing to get there and I showed up at 9:52pm. That’s 8 minutes before the official closing time, which is plenty of time for me to go in, order, and leave with my food a couple minutes after 10, at the latest. When I got there, there were three employees inside working on cleaning up for the night, I tried the door and it was locked. All of them saw me and just smiled at me and refused to let me in. Since I was getting food for my family and I, I went back to my car and called my mom to let her know. When we got off the phone, she called the store to talk to them. One of the girls who saw me told her that I just went up to the door and didn’t try to open it, and just walked away. Then my mom talked to the manager who said that they always lock their door right at 10 so it couldn’t possibly have been locked. I think I know what a locked door feels like. This is very unprofessional, to not only keep a paying customer from coming into the restaurant while the store is still technically open, and then proceed to have two different employees lie about...
