I give this place 5 stars because the place is super clean and the food was delicious. The chicken in my salad-which was a Edgar Allen Poe-was real chicken. You all know what I’m talking about. That weird chicken places serve up that has a strange taste and texture. Not this place though! So yeah, I will be back just for this. However, it’s a tad pricey and personally for what you get-a little ridiculous. I don’t need a huge portion but when I consider that it’s mainly veggies, I am perplexed as to how all these places over charge for those veggies. Also taking into consideration that for the same price, I could go to Sweet Tomatoes and have three salads or just the grocery store and make salads at home for a month. They do however compensate that with these scratch off cards they give out that offer all sorts of freebies. My husband and I got two and both were buy one, get one free soooo kudos to the promotional head for that!

I do recommend this place regardless though because it is a great alternative to fast food. The staff was super friendly and like I said, it was very clean. They do have a lot of plastic ware but the upside-it’s recyclable and they have separate bins for trash and recyclables. I love seeing any place taking initiative to making our environment better.

I’ve been to this Mad Greens many times, usually during the daytime, and the experience has always been fine. However, after a long day of serving the community, I decided to place an online order 15 minutes before arriving. When I got there, I let the worker know I was there for a pickup, and she told me they were backed up and it would be a while.

I waited patiently, but I noticed that customers who came in after me were getting their food before I did. Eventually, I realized I was the only online order still waiting. The same worker asked again who I was picking up for, and it was clear my order had been forgotten. I then watched as she grabbed cold noodles (I had ordered the mac bowl), added toppings, and put it together. At that point, I laughed in disappointment.

When she placed it in the green bag, I felt the bag and confirmed the food was indeed cold. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked for a refund — I wasn’t going to leave with cold food. I didn’t argue or raise my voice; I simply asked for my money back. The staff seemed flustered but complied, and now I’m waiting on the refund.

Overall, the service and attitudes were poor. I’ll be spending my hard-earned money elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend ordering online here, as it was clear I would have gotten my food much faster had I just...

Maybe a 3.5… maybe even just under a 4. I don’t visit frequently because it is a bit pricy, but it’s my daughter’s favorite so we went over to get some wraps for us. We ordered two Annie Oakley wraps without the avocado and we subbed in another veggie, then I ordered my salad and I asked for Avocado. I was told it would be extra. I asked why would it be extra if I just left it behind on two wraps. She said that’s the way it rings up. So then I asked if anything comes off the the wrap for not taking the avocado. Again I was told no. I really understand that policy, and I understand that almost everywhere avocado is extra. But she really could have added the avocado to my salad. Then I saw the price at an additional 2.00 on my salad. So if I am ever back, I will order her Annie with the avocado on the side, since I’m paying for it.
