Los Reyes Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Austin

Walked in and seated myself, within minutes Selene walked up and handed me a menu with chip and salsa and took my request for a drink. I started to munch on the chips and salsa which was delicious! The chips were handmade , along with the salsa. I flipped thru the menu and Selene returned with my drink. After getting through and 3/4’s of the chips and salsa Selene surprises me and asked if I would like more. I nodded and she returned just a couple minutes later with fresh chips out of the oven and fresh salsa. I had finished my drink and without hesitation she brought me a fresh one. I placed an order for the Texas Plate, and within 10-15 minutes it was in front of me steaming hot, fresh. The food was excellent and size portioned. True authentic Mexican food. Hands down best service and Mexican food in Austin I’ve ever had! I would highly recommend this restaurant and server! I definitely will be coming back to...

My boyfriend and I stopped in on Friday afternoon and had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We started with margaritas, which were perfectly made, and loved the drink specials available.

For food, we tried the carne guisada taco, chicken enchilada, and coctel de camarón. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal, and we noticed they offer daily drink specials throughout the week, which makes it a great spot to come back to again and again.

The vibe and ambiance were just right—great music, lively but comfortable atmosphere, and an all-around good energy. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more of the menu and enjoy another round...

I frequent Los Reyes restaurant often the food is good this time when I went to pick up an order that I had called in it being taco Tuesday tacos are $2 I went in and waited for about 5 minutes mind you there was only a table of four in the entire restaurant I told the gentleman who came to me what I was there for he went to the back grab my taco and I pointed out the text message that was sent to me saying Taco Tuesday all tacos are $2 he says only for dine in .on my phone in my email nothing about dine- in only. then he said he would have to go and talk with his boss I said okay but I'm in an Uber so he grabbed the taco and literally threw it in my face and said 'here get out!!'.
