Read moreSo my family just started spending a lot of time in this area (I'm in school nearby). We eat out a lot around here and have some favorites. I decided to order some pick up for dinner from this place with my toddler in the car. I realized if you downloaded the app you got a free chips and salsa, It was a hassle, but I went ahead and did that. Placed the order and waited in the parking lot for curbside pickup. First of all it took forever for our food to come out and I had to call inside to see where it was. They came out after about 15 minutes with our food. But I noticed the chips and salsa are not discounted (as it should have been). I tell the waiter and he is annoyed. At this point my toddler starts whining, because we have been in the car waiting for quite a while. He says the code didn't go through for the chips for some reason. I show him the app and it he can't find it. He goes back in to ask a manager (takes the chips and salsa with him). He comes back after 5-10 more minutes and says they can't do it and I have to pay the full price (like $4) for the chips and salsa. The kid is full fledged crying now while we are talking. He argues with me for a few minutes then I ask for a manager (becasue I've waited this long, I'm getting the dang chips and salsa!) The manager comes out and says they don't see the coupon and gives me the 3rd degree. After going back and forth for a while. He finally gives in, but now has to go back inside to get the chips and salsa becasue the waiter took it and didn't bring it back. Takes 5 more minutes and kid is still screaming. Finally I get them, but it was a horrible experience. The big deal and drama caused over $4 chips and salsa solidified my decision to not go back here again. As someone who has worked in service, customer service and management, It was pretty terrible. That $4 lost them hundreds that we would have spent eating out there, that we just spend...
Read moreLet me just say, leading up to this event Chili's has been one of my favorite chains in the US. Tonight was without a doubt the worst dining experience of my life. The three of us went out at 7:00 on a Wednesday, it was not busy, not even 1/4 capacity. After waiting to be seated, then being seated in the very back right next to a table of 15+ People and the kitchen. We then ordered drinks and appetizers, and waited nearly 20min for the drinks, which our waiter then spilled one of the entire drinks on our friend and poorly cleaned it up, not to mention didn't offer to move us from the soaked booth. We then ordered food (what a mistake) I ordered a blackbean burger (I've been a vegetarian for the past 8 years), to then be given a meat burger, which luckily I noticed before taking a bite as I would have been very sick from eating meat. We then waited nearly 10min before being able to find someone to correct this, who then told us he would "get our waiter", the waiter never showed back up. We then got the attention of a different waiter who then went and got the burger I had ordered within 2 minutes, which then tells me it had been sitting at the pass and I was given someone else's burger. So now the food I had ordered had been sitting out for a minimum of 15min. Needless to say it was stone cold, and at that point we had had enough. Of course it's Chili's so the waiter didn't even bring us our bill, we had to pay on the junk POS machine which was malfunctioning and the touch screen was barley responsive. What a waste of nearly $70, and our time. This will be the last time I dine...
