Elk Dog Coffee — Restaurant in Austin

I stopped here today while I was waiting around in the area. Googled "coffee near me" and it was 2 mi away, saw the reviews, and decided to check it out. The gentleman working the stand was very nice and suggested trying The Salty Elk Dog. I was going to order 1/2 sweet, but I asked if it was sweet and he said they don't make their drinks as sweet as other spots, so I ordered as-is. Salty drinks kind of scare me b/c I worry it may be too salty but let me tell you, this drink was so well balanced and delicious! It had a little whipped cream/cold foam/soft cap, whatever you want to call it. I hate that it's so far from where I live but if I'm ever in the area again, I will be sure to stop. Finally stopped by after seeing so many good reviews. I'll start with the service. I'll start with the person who took our order she didn't even say hi/hello. She looked as she didn't want to be there. She had real cute nails and I told her I like your nails and she ignored me. We got our coffees and all I could taste was bitter expresso! The coffee was so disappointing. We got the honey latte and the pecan crunch. The pecan crunch means you’re drinking a chunky coffee, so beware. Both of the drinks were extremely watery with barely any flavor. Pretty long wait to order too.
