We were in Austin for 5 days and went here 3 times for gelato. There was a total of 8 in our group and everyone was very pleased with their selections. I highly recommend the raspberry, watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberry.
This is as close, and in some ways comparable, to the gelato that you get in Italy. I am very much an elitist when it comes to gelato as basically every gelato place I have been to in the US has been a disappointment. I think whatever your choice, it would be delicious. I tasted about four flavors before I decided to have the Pistachio and Coconut in a waffle cone. They allowed sampling the flavors too. The lady who served us was friendly and patient because we were indecisive on what flavors to get. I definitely recommend Gelato Paradiso. I...
