I'm a fan of the simple, unfrilly, and relatively inexpensive offerings of P. Terry's. I've come to this location a handful of times and have always been satisfied by the quality. The fries are delicious and hot. The patties are thin, but good. The shakes are thick. The burgers are quite customizable. All good things. This last time I went, I ordered a lettuce wrap. Ordinarily, I'll get a single patty, but this time I wanted some more protein. I'm not a fan of American cheese, so I didn't want the double cheeseburger, so I asked for a double burger. The burger stand employees happily complied.
However, the pricing here is inconsistent, and as a principle, I find this unacceptable. (In the most lighthearted of ways, but also seriously.) The single hamburger costs 2.85. The single cheeseburger costs 3.45. By this reckoning, P. Terry's is valuing the price of cheese at 60 cents. The double cheeseburger costs 4.85. I asked for a double hamburger and they charged me the 2.85 for the burger plus 2.05 for extra meat. This comes to 4.90. This is obviously not an insane amount to pay for a burger, but that is not my point. My point is that a double hamburger somehow costs 5 cents more than a double cheeseburger, when the cheeseburger comes with more, namely two slices of cheese. Which, according to the difference in price between a single hamburger and a single cheeseburger, should be valued at 1.20. This means that a double burger should be 3.65. Tbh, I don't care how much you charge for cheese, I just have a problem with inconsistency in pricing, and that a double burger without cheese somehow costs more than a double burger with cheese. I...
Read moreCHECK YOUR FOOD AND RECEIPTS. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN ARGUE WHEN YOU SHOW PROOF.
10 minutes ago, this place just gave me the worst customer service I have ever recieved. And I am a polite customer bc I don't mess with people in charge of my food. I order 2 meals with 2 drinks, get to window and they give me 1 drink and reciept and all I see on receipt is one order listed and a hm urger underneath but didn't says fries for drink with it. So I said the hamburger is suppose to come with fries and a drink, diet coke. Ok, no prob, take my card again and charge me for a Dr pepper and fries. Ok... I don't have my food so not going to correct the drink and piss them off so didn't say anything BUT noticed they charged me for 3 fries in the end. So I don't say anything and just tell myself to just take the 3 fries and move along. But, food comes and it's 2 fries and 2 burgers. So I show her the recepts and say I'm missing a fry, that I didn't even want to be honest so can you feund me.or give me the fry? She starts to tell me that it's my fault they charged me 3 because I read the receipt wrong. At this point I'm done with this person and their screw ups so I tell her that's it I'm leaving, bc I don't want someone like that handling my FOOD OR CREDIT CARD.
Will be looking up contact info for corporate next bc I don't take kindly to THEFT. I will not stand for that!!!! And this is absolutely my last visit to them, and I...
Read moreTHIS IS THE WORST P TERRY'S IN THE ENTIRE STATE. I went and paid nearly $25 for food. I should have KNOWN they would (again) mess up the order. Got home and found anything but what I had ordered. I couldn't even make a meal of it, because it was insanity. Like 6 patties, 5 bags of their (horrible) fries, a loaf of (wretched) banana bread, and I those nasty things they try to pass off as "chicken nuggets." And when I go back - rightfully angry, the little lady has the nerve to tell me that I have to "calm down" and that she will not tolerate my "attitude." (Yes, I recorded the whole thing, because I assume that they will claim differently.) I didn't dare wait for them to spit in my food for the replacement order. I left the bags of "food" with them. I will NEVER buy anything from any P. Terry's in the future. NEVER. I would sooner eat a dirt sandwich than give them one penny. I would give negative stars if Google allowed that. Do NOT, for the love of all that is holy, waste your money or...
