This P Terry's burger stand is very convenient to my granddaughter's house. I enjoy items from their menu but sadly we don't have one close by to where I live out in Leander. After dropping my granddaughter to work, I decided to grab an early dinner and went through the drive-through. I don't know if you've noticed but most P Terry's locations seem to have quite a following and are very busy pretty much anytime I've ever driven by but this must've been a bit of a golden time between 430 and 5pm And although they have 2 lanes(One in each direction) only one was open at the time and of course I drove in the wrong way... However a very nice gentleman let me slide in -in front of him so that I could be in the right line. At that moment in time there were only four total cars in line so that meant I then became car three. Before I knew it I was pulling up to the speaker to order and ordered my double meat burger just as it comes which is with lettuce, tomato, and special sauce. I also ordered a french fry and root beer.. The service was efficient, the person at the other end of the speaker was friendly and repeated my order to make sure it was correct, they are doing a contactless drive through so you pull up to pick up your order and pay by putting your money or your card on a tray which they then pull in take care of and send back out to you your change and your meal. My meal was very cost-effective in fact that is something that really needs to be highlighted. These are better than an average burger and fries at a fraction of the cost of most fast food. Anyway my meal was very reasonable and I left them a couple dollars & change. The gentleman at the window seem to be a little surprised and questioned if I wanted to leave all of it for them (My attitude is that if you can't afford to tip adequately especially during this difficult time then you shouldn't be eating out......) So back to the granddaughters house I went to enjoy my meal which I did. I'm not sure what there is about the fries but I really like them!!! Burger was very good too. If you're in this area just south and east of the city be sure to stop in and grab a bite to eat you won't...
Read moreThe food was okay. Better than I expected. While in Texas, my son yelled that he wanted a burger for every meal. I'm not surprised, he always want a burger. So we stopped by this location since it was close to the hotel where we were staying. He ordered the hamburger and added bacon. Bacon was an extra $0.95, they also had a veggie burger, which was housemade. The veggie burger was definitely better than I anticipated. I did not like that they used processed cheese but otherwise the food was good. I did have to pay an extra $0.20 for onions which was weird to me but worth it. They also have milkshakes, which is an upcharge as well as well as the lemonade, which is an upcharge too. It definitely didn't taste like fountain lemonade so I'm pretty sure it was homemade. It was a little thicker than I'm use to having. I would still prefer Chick-fil-A milkshake but it is still pretty good. Their fries were amazing. And I was very surprised at just how good it was. I do wish they'd put more veggies on the burger. I taste more of the burger than anything else and I'm more of a more vegetables little meat type of person even though I had the veggie burger. They also have antibiotic-free meat, which I thought was...
Read moreThis place was a mess during lunch yesterday. I ordered a chicken burger and a cheeseburger both of them with grilled onions and bacon (that I paid for extra) . I went out of the car thinking it was gonna be a shorter wait but the lady at the window was so busy she was more focus on getting the Drive-thru order out and it was probably an even longer wait. When I finally got my burgers after the longest ago neither had bacon and one of them also didn't had the onions. I gave the burgers back and waiting again for the longest just to get a 2 time the burgers wrong like how hard can it be to literally putting the bacon THAT IM PAYING EXTRA FOR into the burgers . I was late for work so I didn't had the chance to wait for a 3rd time for the to give me another pair of burgers with no bacon. I honestly felted like I was robbed since I didn't got what I was paying for and the lady was just like "I'm so sorry" I don't need her to feel sorry I need her to have the kitchen give me my order how I place it with what I paid for . And for context I did check my receipts and I was charge for it extra. Also they didn't had Nutella...
