I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior that we encountered at the restaurant on the occasion of a birthday celebration. We had taken the time to carefully plan and make reservations for a specific number of guests, and it is unfortunate that unforeseen circumstances resulted in an additional three attendees. While I understand that the restaurant may have policies in place to accommodate for such situations, the response of the hostess was highly inappropriate and completely unacceptable.
Not only did the hostess fail to offer any solution or compromise to the situation, but she also chose to lie and make baseless accusations against our group. It is completely irresponsible and unprofessional for the hostess to claim that the waitstaff felt threatened by our presence, as there had been no communication or interaction between the waitstaff and our group prior to this incident. It is highly disturbing that the hostess would make such a false and inflammatory statement, and it reflects poorly on the overall professionalism of the restaurant.
Furthermore, the decision to call security was completely unnecessary and only served to escalate the situation. The security guards were polite and professional, but their presence was not required in this situation. The hostess's decision to involve them was a clear attempt to intimidate and bully our group into leaving, rather than finding a solution to the situation.
We were extremely disappointed and frustrated by this experience, and it has left a very negative impression of the restaurant and its staff. It is unfortunate that we were not able to enjoy our celebration at the restaurant, and instead had to deal with such unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Read moreI made two separate reservations at P6 on open table for the max number of guests that are allowed for a friends birthday. I work next door so I went by weeks in advance to see if I could choose which tables we could have reserved for us (not an unusual request in the restaurant industry when making reservations).
The hostess on this particular day (young black girl with nose piercing) was very sweet and accommodating. She walked me over to the area and worked with me to reserve two large tables by the rail.
On the day of the reservation, I arrive 15 min early to make sure everything was good. I hostess at this time (young white girl with a neck tattoo) told me the tables were not ready. Since I was by myself at the time, I just sat at a small table to have a drink while I waited on my friends and for the other groups to leave.
15 min passes and this same hostess comes to me and tells me that my table is ready.
She takes me inside which confuses me because I made a reservation weeks ago for the tables outside.
She tells me that the other tables are still sitting there and she doesn’t know when they will get up.
I’m annoyed at this point, because I made a reservation weeks in advance, took time out of my day to come in person to select the table I wanted and confirm the reservation and now I get this.
I ask to to speak to the manager, Rachel.
Rachel comes over and instead of being warm, welcoming, apologetic and working with me to find a solution as you should in the hospitality industry, she decided to be dismissive, argumentative, rude, and I ultimately didn’t feel heard as a guest with a complaint. The bar staff were spectators to this and were giving me a nasty looks (for a valid complaint??) Rachel and I ended up talking in circles and no offering nothing to me for lacking to meet expectations. Rachel is a terrible negotiator and ended up putting me in such a bad mood I had to leave and go for a walk to cool off. I promise I’m usually a really chill person but she just set me off because it seemed like she just wasn’t listening to me (and really, that’s pretty much all I wanted)
The hostess from earlier was incredibly rude to my friends once they arrived, being short and unhelpful when asking about our reservation and gave condescending looks to all the girls.
The wait staff was great though. Food is mediocre, cocktails are good. Everything is over priced but you are paying for the ambiance, view, etc.

Read moreFor several years, this was me and my wife's dating anniversary spot, we loved to book ahead of time, get a table with a nice view and take lots of pictures with my wife looking lovely.
After checking in, my wife had a bit of a medical issue, so it delayed getting into our reservation by 10 minutes. (I did notify the p6, as this is important). When we got to p6, they sat us away from any of the tables that had the nice view of the river and there were two empty tables next to us. So I ask the waitress and she said she would ask the host, after waiting about 5 minutes, two women got a table next to the river. So we took it upon ourselves to get the last remaining table. This is important as there was no update or no checking in until the host came to us and said very explicitly, "where did you come from?" We asked her if anyone talked to her about us getting a table next to the river and she expressed a 4-top just arrived and they needed our table. When I tried to explain we booked a reservation, and its our anniversary, she said, not to make a big deal about it and told us to move. I pleaded with her one last time, and she said, as soon as another table opens up, she promises we will be taken care of. So we get a table far from the nice view and the couple across the way left and the table remained dirty for 30 minutes. I took pictures to show, no efforts were made to clean up the table.
I worked in hotels before and I know when someone just doesn't care or doesn't value customer service. This was one of those cases. What should have been a memorable magical night was ruined by one person. This was terrible way to ruin a great tradition #LineHotels #p6...
