Pollos Asados La Bonita — Restaurant in Austin

Thought I would try this new place of La Bonita Pollo . The food truck is very nicely decorated looks very clean. I ordered the Pollo asado comes with rice and beans, but my beans had so much pork rind, pork belly, bacon, peppers, and tomato and I could count the number of beans that were in there had too much stuff in there other than beans and they were not pinto beans ,the rice was very good fluffy not overly seasoned, the pollo asado was overly dry , and not consistent in the seasoning, some of it had no seasoning some of it had all of it ,a lot of paprika which isn’t bad, but I like consistency every piece of chicken should taste the same I ate the chicken wing first it was flavorful and not so dry but when I got to another piece which was part of the thigh, it was kind of raw on the inside near the bone had some blood. I will not touch that it was undercooked on the inside, which means I will not eat it at $15 for this plate. I could’ve gone to sit somewhere or just ordered from another place that is very good and consistent. I will not be coming back to this place. I also ordered a Jamica water wh, but it had a little funky flavor to it . I don’t like when people put their fingers inside the cup that they’re serving my beverage in that’s contamination. So for all these reasons, I will not be coming back, check this one...

My new go to pollo asado spot. The beans got i think chicharron and some other stuff that makes it insanely good, and they aren’t stingy with tortillas. Papa asado is insane too, wasn’t able to get a photo tho. Green salsa was my favorite but mixing both is always good. They also have great deals on certain days...

Had the half ribs and they were super delicious. My daughter ordered a Quesadilla with beef and chicken and she loved it. Rice and beans were on point as well!!...
