Came here tonight with my dog, who was on leash. There were multiple other dogs off leash around the bar who were sweet and well behaved. Then, an employee with long hair walked out from the bar with his German shepherd off leash. His dog proceeded to run up and attack my 20lb dog. I pried his dog’s jaws off of my dog’s neck and was able to get it to back off by yelling loudly and startling it. The employee/owner of the aggressive dog simply watched. Even so, I didn’t get a chance to say a word to him. In fact, he was the first to speak to ME to say “other dogs were not allowed at the bar, inside or outside” (subtext: “I’m kicking you out of this bar because I’m a small-pricked boy who is too stupid to properly train my dog and too embarrassed to take responsibility for him”).
It left me a little dumbfounded, but I happily left to trot myself down the road to a better bar. Thrilled to never patronize this establishment again and recommend everyone I know to do the same!
