Corn Dogs are underrated !! So good and better with higher quality mustard ~ BYOM . Lemonade was not good. Country Time vibes and I prefer a higher quality and freshly made. . Fries were not good. Could have been fried longer. 🤔 Idk but the portion is about 8oz. ~ Whataburger has better next door. . Cheese Burgers are classic and the size of your head. Flopsy bun that gets drenched in all the sauces. Couldn’t really taste the meat so I can’t speak on the quality. Comes with: chopped lettuce, tomato, pickles, chopped onion, & mustard. But they asked if we wanted ketchup and mayonnaise ~ in case you’re ordering for people, get all the details (also, they don’t mark the burgers, so in a large order [5 of us] you’ll have to open each burger to check [they got two of ours wrong]) Adding jalapeños ~ not fresh (jar/canned) and didn’t add much heat. Again flavor gets lost in all the watery leaves, pickle juice, and lack luster mayo, ketchup and mustard. . They have a lot of dessert options!! Basically half the menu is dessert if you count soda. It’s been years since I had a shake, but I remember them being a good choice. . Perfect simple, stuff your face joint that could be quick and easy!! . . ALL SEATING OUTSIDE Music is loud and bumpin! Car exhaust is aplenty as it’s a small building with a drive thru and parking right where you order/wait for your food so people tend to keep their car running ~ sit in the back tables!! They call your number over an intercom so you don’t have to soak in all the extra, unnecessary fumes. Going in July 111° weather so don’t expect much customer service ~ it’s hot in there and I’m sure they’re all tired bc it’s busy all the time.

Sandy's Hamburgers in Austin, Texas, is a true old-school treasure that’s been serving up delicious meals for decades. Conveniently located near Zilker Park, this iconic spot is perfect for a post-park treat or a casual bite while soaking in the Austin vibe. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a snack on your way to Barton Springs, Sandy's is a reliable go-to for simple, satisfying comfort food. The menu keeps it straightforward, and that's part of its charm. Their burgers are fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection—no frills, just classic goodness. Sandy's fries deserve special recognition. They're hot, crispy, and irresistibly tasty, offering just the right balance of crunch and flavor. While they may not be gourmet, they’re undeniably satisfying and pair perfectly with any burger or hot dog. Another highlight is their rich and creamy frozen custards and milkshakes. Whether you go for a classic vanilla cone or a decadent sundae, it’s the perfect way to cool off on a warm Austin day. Sandy's also offers a laid-back, retro vibe with outdoor seating that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal under the Texas sky. They did get part of our order wrong, so some of us had to eat out of sync with everyone else as it was busy. With its proximity to Zilker Park, Sandy's is an ideal spot to fuel up before exploring Austin’s green spaces or to cap off an afternoon of outdoor fun. Affordable prices, friendly service, and a nostalgic charm make Sandy's Hamburgers a must-visit for anyone craving classic American fast food in the city's heart.

A really nice place for some quick eat! We visited on a Thursday night and this place is packed! The drive-thru line extended out to the road, and there was also a long line at the ordering window! Thankfully the line moved pretty fast. We got the Thursday & Saturday burger combo special, a corndog, and a pineapple shake. It was a total of 17 bucks and it was enough to feed 2 of us. I like the corndog the most. It was freshly cooked, the fried batter is very crispy on the outside and scalding hot on inside when you take the first bite. I think the overall taste would be better if they use a different sausage (more meat content? Something like the franks they serve in Costco or Sam's?), but I'm impressed by the corndog. The burger is also good - decent portion, pretty much what you expect from a burger. Fries are crispy but a little unevenly salted. Some of them are bland and tasteless. I will say personally I didn't enjoy the shake as much. I didn't like the flavor of the soft serve they have, but I do like the chunks of pineapple in there (which also made drinking from the straw impossible). The views are also pretty nice (especially at sunset). I didn't take any pictures of the food cuz it was getting dark and those pictures won't represent the food well 😅

Sandy's Hamburgers in Austin is a beloved local spot that embraces the essence of classic American burger joints with a distinct Austin charm. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a casual and laid-back atmosphere that immediately puts you in the mood for some mouthwatering burgers.

The menu at Sandy's Hamburgers is refreshingly simple, focusing on delivering high-quality burgers that hit the spot. The patties are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, ensuring that every bite is a satisfying explosion of savory goodness. Whether you opt for a classic cheeseburger or a specialty burger loaded with toppings, the quality and taste remain consistently excellent.

What sets Sandy's apart is their commitment to using fresh ingredients. The buns are soft and toasted just right, providing the perfect foundation for the flavorful meat and toppings. The crispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and tangy pickles add a refreshing crunch that complements the deliciousness of the burger. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that your order is taken accurately and delivered with a smile. Whether you're dining in or grabbing a quick bite to-go, the service is consistently prompt, making it a convenient option for those on the move.

While Sandy's Hamburgers may not offer an extensive array of menu options, what they do offer, they do exceptionally well. And let's not forget about their addictive fries. The crispy, golden fries are the perfect sidekick to their delectable burgers, completing the quintessential burger experience.

One thing to note is that Sandy's Hamburgers embraces its nostalgic charm, and the seating area may not provide the most spacious or modern ambiance. However, it's the kind of place that oozes character and authenticity, making it an essential part of the Austin burger scene.

In terms of pricing, Sandy's Hamburgers provides excellent value for the quality of their burgers. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and the satisfaction that comes with each bite.

In conclusion, Sandy's Hamburgers is a must-visit destination for burger enthusiasts in Austin. I rate Sandy's Burguers with one star because I can't give them less than that.

After 12 minutes waiting to order by the drive thru, the lady who took my order, took it wrong!!

I ordered a combo of grill chicken breast SANDWICH, with fries and a coke easy on ice. Plus another SANDWICH..( means grill chicken breast).

Another 10 minutes after she took my order and I got the window, she gave me 2 coke, I asked why 2 drinks, she said... you ordered 2 combos, I said no, I order 1 combo and another GRILL CHICKEN SANDWICH ,... She started arguing about the order, but, I expend 25 minutes already, so I don't wanna end my 30 minutes lunch break on the line...

I said, it's fine, everything is OK. My question was, which one of this sodas is easy on ice‽?

She said the first one. She lie. Both of them was with full ice 🧊 in the cup. I pay and leave that place.

Guess what??? At my work place I found one grill chicken breast sandwich and ONE HAMBERGER!!!! REALLY!!!!??????

For all those mistakes, and the time I expend on the line to get a wrong order, First, I will never cone back to Sandy's Hamburgers. Secon, I will never recommend at all Sandy's Hamburgers. Third and the most important, for the price of a grill chicken breast sandwich doesn't value that sandwich, it doesn't taste anything. The burger had a bad mustard flavor, and i had to throw away both combos.

Price: not priced but don't value the money you pay for a meal on Sandy's Hamburgers.

Location: very well located at, but it's a trouble to get it / get out for the traffic in that area.

Service: horrible !!!

I will never recommend Sandy's Hamburgers at all.

If you are bored, don't have nothing to do and want to waste your time and money, go...
