Auditorium Shores at Town Lake Metropolitan Park — Attraction in Austin

Auditorium Shores is technically a park where you can take your dog or just have a nice day out. However, I usually only visit this location for the music festivals and concerts that are often held here. Auditorium Shores is probably my favorite outdoor music venue in the Austin area. I've been here several times for a variety of shows and I must say, it's a near perfect location. The view of the Austin Sky Line is beautiful, as it's right behind the main stage. Wide and open, you almost never feel cramped and always have enough personal space. One small downside is that the vendors are quite expensive, think $6 for a beer and $7 for a margarita, but this is to be expected at any show so it might be a better idea to have a friend go in first and then toss him/her a backpack full of alcohol over the fence when nobody is looking. As for the sound quality, the speakers are loud and heavy. The lighting is always professional. With a 15,000-20,000 max capacity, it really rocks. It certainly always has amazing production value no matter the show.

As with any outdoor venue, the rain can ruin a good concert, so don't forget to check to see if the weather will be right. I highly recommend attending shows here, they have everything from reggae, hipster/indie rock, dubstep, and even occasional metal shows. Auditorium Shores in Austin is an exceptional spot that beautifully blends urban and natural landscapes. 🌆 Nestled along the south bank of Lady Bird Lake, this expansive park offers stunning views of the downtown skyline, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors.

The park is a hub for various activities. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Hike-and-Bike Trail, providing a scenic route along the lake for jogging, cycling, or leisurely walks. 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

All I can say is great, great, great weekend.☺️ Outstanding place to enjoy the Jamaican Fest. They had this event for 3 days and it started after my birthday.🥳 My birthday was April 18th, and so it started april 19, 20 & the 21st. My cousin and I decided to go on Friday because Saturday there really was some storms coming down.😶‍🌫️ So happy we went on friday because they gave away for free bags, cups, bandanas, keychains, and free bus passes for people that lived in austin and coolest of all yes a fanny pack😁 I loved everything about this day!!! I also had fried chicken on a stick and chedder fries. The best part of the meal was the lemonade. When I tell you this Certifide Country Lemonade (frozen one), what I had was the bomb they are. They are ustin made the young lady and owner is Meredith. Please look them up their website they taste amazing and sell all types of different flavors, Frozen or not frozen😋 Please look through the pics they also will be coming to a dtore near you.
