Snarf's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Austin

FOOD: Ordered the veggie sandwich, with pickles, peppers, oil seasoning. It was toasted perfectly, and 7" was the perfect amount of food. Good selection of chips.

DRINKS: The unsweetened tea was good. Sorry for anyone who requires sweet tea, not an option. Otherwise they carry Coke products.

CLEANLINESS: the bathrooms are spotless. They had two gender, neutral restrooms, and they were nice and roomy! Inside of the restaurant was very clean as well, and since you can see the full kitchen, area behind the counter, that area was also kept very clean.

STAFF: all of the staff is very friendly.

SEATING & PARKING: Plenty of elbowroom, tables were spread out with lots of seating. They had a few tables and chairs outside as well in front of the store. There is lots of parking, I came about 1:30 on a Thursday and didn't have any issue finding a spot. They share a parking lot with taco deli, a chiropractor, and a handful of other retail stores.

This place is acceptable. It is overpriced for a sandwich anyone can make at home.

Food: The Italian sub has all of the classic elements of its kind. There was not an ingredient that really stood out or tasted unique to this shop. The wheat bread was really basic and a little too toasted for me. The sub was too dry overall but it didn’t taste bad.

Ambiance: it is a really large space for a counter service sandwich shop with nothing to do or watch inside. Extremely clean inside.

Service: I found friendly service from the person making my sandwich. I thought she was working there by herself since she was making 3 sandwiches simultaneously on her own. Then three other staff members ambled out of the kitchen. None of them greeted me but they didn’t grimace either.

Overall, I would come back and order a sandwich if I didn’t want to drive another 5 mins to...

I absolutely loveee Snarf’s and I am so happy this one opened up close to me:)

I’ve ordered the Portobello Provolone (my favorite) a few times from this location and it has always been spot on. I love the peppers and seasoning, and my sandwiches are always loaded up super well!!!

I’ve also introduced multiple friends to Snarf’s at this location and they have all had great first experiences with meat sandwiches and vegetarian!!!

Service is always incredibly friendly, I’ve never had a bad interaction here. Sometimes delays can be a bit long, but staff is always apologetic when it happens and my sandwich is always well worth the time spent making it!!
