Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Austin

Me and my boyfriend love sonic, by far this is the worse location. They messed up a $22 order which isn't that big of a deal until the Car hop refused to fix the order because she would have to go back inside, then didn't give us a receipt because we paid with a card. Called the manager to talk to him about the service, he accused us of not being there because the car hop didn't give us a receipt. Accused us of discriminating against the Hispanic car hop because she was Hispanic, which we didn't do at all. Just said she was the person we spoke to. We called corporate and received a call back from a manger, my boyfriend and I both tried to call her back and never got a response. Then tonight we went. Waited 20 minutes for two drinks, the person on the mic took 5 minutes just to figure out what slush we wanted it. Ordered an ice cream with a flavor tunnel. Never received that. Got three receipts that are completely different, even though we paid with a card. One receipt is ours, the other two we have no idea. This sonic is horrible, will not be returning and will be making a call to corporate once again because this service is ridiculous and all of the people we've spoken to have been rude and had no costumer...

I came at 10:30pm and twice I pushed the service button and both times they took it off. Rude! Oct 31,2022. I thank the owner for reaching out to me about it. Thank you. Update: 06/11/23- Well, I ordered off the 1/2 price menu on my app. I put what I wanted on my double cheeseburger. Ketchup and mustard was on there. Mayo wasn't checked. Well, after opening it later and taking a bite found no mustard or ketchup. Only condiment was mayo. 🙄 I really want to give good reviews here, but sadly it still hasn't improved. Sorry. I guess all I'll order, like I have been, is cold brew coffee. So far that hasn't been messed up. Update: 03/14/2024- You know how when you bite into a fresh onion ring and the slice of onion comes out? You know it's a true onion. I'm sad to say the only thing I'll be getting from here are drinks. My onion rings tore into pieces easily. It didn't even have that delicious oniony flavor. Here's my idea. Sonic went BioEngineered! Came thier yesterday to order food . I ordered a medium cheese tots and a medium cherry limeade. I get to my job and start getting and after eating a bite of the food I look to my left. And notice a huge black hair wrapped around one of the cheese tots. I immediately threw them away including everything. What a waste of time and money . I tried calling and some lady answered. I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me that the manager will be gone for the next 30 mins or so..it's like I don't have time to wait. So I explained to her their was a issue with the order and she reassured me that . She " processed a refund ". But my bank is still pending for that transcation. Do y'all not hair nets or follow safe food handling. Or do y'all just have nasty people who work here and think it's ok to tamper with peoples food. Do you not check ti ensure thiers no issue with the food that y'all are handling out . I mean how can you put chesee tots in a wrapper and not see the 2 inch hair...
