I am a student here in Austin, and everyone on campus has attempted to Warn me on multiple occasions about the “Oltorf Taco Bell”, However, I have been to Other several establishments on occasions, due to the fact that Taco Bell is one of the only few locations that offer taco vegetarian options for South Austin; not to mention, I really like the Nacho Cheese Fries! I am WELL AWARE and I FULLY Apprehend, I am NOT the first customer served old food, but when will it be the Last customer…. Unfortunately, I came at a slow period, and the manager Jose, informed me that the food is dropped fresh every 15 minutes and I arrived while they were still serving the “OLD batch” I politely bring it to their attention that, I would like fresh food that I paid money for, the employee then told the manager, so I proceed to wait about 3-5 minutes, I then come back to ask for an ETA for my fresh order, the manager YELLS out, someone has to drop them first. . . Jose, Store #030140, as a manager, how should you have properly handled the situation, if a paying customer went into a Taco Bell and ordered their meal, it came out cold, the paying customer informs management, the manager takes No action, then the paying customer is told, you must wait again, while we still have to prepare the fresh food you should have received the first time ! I am just here to receive some feedback and a second opinion, in regards to the management and staff demeanor towards serving cold food and Not taking accountability for the mistake, then having the audacity to be lackadaisical about it is a great display of neglect customer service. Until further notice, I will continue to spread the word about the “Oltorf Taco Bell” so more innocent paying customers will not have to suffer, or ask for fresh food, instead of it served fresh without asking!!

In October, I came in, tied my leashed dog under the table, and bought him a bean burrito. I slid it to him on a plastic tray, assuming trays are washed after use. Two employees started yelling like it was an emergency — “Your dog is eating off our trays!” — and threatened to call police. Instead of de-escalating, they tried to force me out mid-meal. I called their bluff, finished eating, and left. Since then, I’ve filed multiple complaints. Every one has been routed to corporate rep Laura, who opens by defending the staff — “I know all those people and they’re good” — instead of addressing the harassment. Laura’s role has been to shield repeat offenders from accountability, ensuring the same hostile behavior continues. This location has a long history of rude service, constant turnover, and management circling the wagons instead of fixing problems. Customers deserve better than corporate damage control.

I visited ar 8:47 on march 22. Manager (perez) is ready to argue about any complaint! Felt like she was ready to shut me down. Very hostile. My bean burrito was made wrong. 2 chicken burritos that i asked for EXTRA sauce on the side. Got home saw burrito was messed up and chicken burritos had no sauce and some sauce on side. Called to let them know. Immediately she lets me know i am wrong and asked for sauce on side only and that she didnt charge me for sauce. Okay thats not my fault. I was willing to pay for EXTRA sauce. She then says okay so we messed up on burrito and it got quiet. I tried to speak agian and she started arguing with me.did not offer to remake if i take back or anything. I told her i was not trying ro get free food or anything and i was willing to take back.So i told her i would just call corporate. She said okay thats fine.

I went to this Taco Bell Location to pickup an order to deliver for Door Dash. I and many other Door Dashers were in the Drive Thru ,as it was after midnight and inside of the store was closed. I pulled up and told employee that I was picking up For Door Dash and the customer name. The employee proceeded to tell me ," If any of the items have Beef in it ,,well we can't make it , because we ran out of beef." So I said ok ,,, thinking he is going to check the order and inform me what may have beef in order.

Employee proceeded to say , "Well?!?".....and I said ,"Oh,,I thought you knew wether or not ,since you have the order details?., I didn't know you were telling me to check ?"

Employee says to me ,," "Ugh,sigh, ugh", ....."You know what ma'am, just pull up to the window"....,(sighs again) ,,,... When I pull up to window,,,I say ,,"So what can we do as an alternative for the customer?."... Employee, says ,"Huh,what?".... I'm out of beef and there is not an alternative,,the customer will just have to re-order.. ". I pull out of the drive thru,,and message my customers to tell her what's going on .the customer tells me ,that Chicken will be ok for the order. So I circle back around thru the drive thru ,,get to the speaker,,and tell the employee I was just talking with him ,,and that if they could make the order with Chicken...the employee has an even more annoyed attitude than the first time I talked to him,,,and just lets out a deep breath and ,says just pull up to the window...so I do ...ask him can we make the order for the customer that has already paid for her order ,,can we make it with Chicken... The employee is very frustrated at this point..and almost mad at me that I even suggested what I did .

He says,," What?!..... "I can't do that,,,I'm not allowed to do that!"..." I didn't tell you that earlier, ma'am!" I said the customer would need to reorder the order... So I say,,, "You can't?,or YOU WON'T,make the order with Chicken?" ,,I say "Because you know ,there's a big difference between CAN'T & WON'T." The employee goes on to say..." I'm not allowed to do that".

I say "Really?,,yeah because doing something for a customer that has paid for their order would need to get approval",, "Because you would not want to get in trouble, right?!"

Gimme a break ,,This whole scenario happened to all the Door Dashers/ Food Delivery Service Workers ,,and at least 8 or more were in line when I was there, but I'm sure many other delivery drivers were also impacted by this ,,and other paying customers picking up their own personal orders that they paid for online and then went to go pick up themselves.

I understand things happen,, restaurants, fast food, etc,,will run out of things,,,but if you remain open without a main ingredient for your food service,,you do what you can to accommodate what a paying customer paid for,,you don't stay open for business, continue to accept orders, and money!,, and not even attempt to accommodate, and make the alternative order,,that most people will be understanding to ....Worst customer service,,... We all know when we order and pay for food and can't get the order,,we are out the money and food,,it's not a good feeling. It is not hard for a restaurant or any business to make it right, despite being out of a certain product Most people are generally understanding and willing to accommodate,,you can't please everyone...but like I said,,most customers will see the effort, and be ok with the substitute for the order....but when those who work in any part of the service industry/work .. don't try to appreciate the paying customer,,,it's just sad and I don't even know what has become of people as sometimes. It's basic.. we , including the employee I dealt with would not be ok with how He,Taco Bell told all of us what he did...and you would be upset...I mean whatever happened to ,How would I feel??.. Let me try and attempt to do the right thing...no this employee is ok with just turning all these paying customers away,,,and I guess your paycheck just comes from Taco Bell...

I would rather get deployed again then go back and order a burrito from this place. I start my journey off by ordering a grande meal of bean burritos. Then proceeded to order 2 bean burritos with onions, sour cream and a burrito Supreme. They decided it was best for it to all come in the same bag with no markings or different wrappers. I thought my third grade notes weren't organized, but according to them it was college level and management material. I would throw a joke about their educational ambition, but this isn't the place for it. I received four sauce packets too, but this would not be the battle that would be fought today. I stay in the window to ask them to separate this chaos for me because I was buying the grande meal for a friend that needed food. I guess they assumed that I was going to eat the entire thing myself, so why not just search through the hordes of bean burritos then. These fiendish taco bell employees proceed to create a web of lies in order to be lazy saying that its marked, because they don't want to take the time to search the mess that was fashioned in this infernal domain. So I decided to do so. After finding out it wasn't marked they tell me "Oh yeah we put it in different wrapping paper" and I already checked it out to know that these words did not ring true. Then they have the gall to tell me it was wrapped a different way which I also informed them it was not so. They tell me to go off of it's weight and it's almost hard not to laugh. I guess they assumed that me going through each burrito like Indiana Jones was obviously the best solution. I felt like I was ordering a burrito from Comcast. I will never go to taco bell again. My health and sanity will thank me for it. I also did not eat those two burritos with "sour cream".

TL:DR They put all 13 burritos and no sauce in the same bag. Assumed that I didn't care which one was which. Proceeded to give crappy customer service and not the correct order. Also never got the...
