What a lovely place to go for a hike! Nice and quiet, away from the Austin hubbub. There are a variety of trail options and the hills aren't very steep so it's a laid back hike. It was on a little dead end street so there was no set parking lot for it, be prepared to park on the street. Great place to take your kids for a walk. There was a sign that said "no pets" yet I saw a man there with his dog on a leash. I recommended checking it out if you're in the area and want to get back to nature!

My friend brought me here on one of our weekly walks. He said it was described as a "hidden gem". Boy was he right! I wouldn't want to hike here alone because it was very isolated feeling even in the middle of town. It was on a weekend and still not many people were using the trails. The trees were magical and there are several scenic overlooks. We even found a tree with presents hidden inside! Parking was a breeze too.

Such a lovely hike. We loved hiking here until we ran into a guy and his dog who were camping. He seemed okay when he saw us (before saw his tent) but my son and I felt a bit uneasy and decided to go back the way we came instead of hiking the loop which went right by his campsite. Beyond that we had a lovely time at the creek and volcanic outlook. Definitely a hike that I will do again!

Blunt Creek offers a pleasant 45-minute hike, ideal for anyone seeking a quick outdoor escape. While not overly challenging, the trail includes steady elevation changes and a couple of scenic lookout points. I visited on a weekend morning and encountered just one other person, which, paired with the dense vegetation, created a secluded atmosphere. If you’re looking for a short and peaceful hike, this spot is worth a visit. However, for those seeking longer or more challenging trails, consider exploring options like the River Place Nature Trail or the greenbelt. I entered the trail near Long Bow Ln and parked on the nearby...
