My update:
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I typically do takeout, but recently enjoyed brunch with a friend, and the dining experience was wonderful. You place your order at the register and then find a table while they bring out your food for you. The decor strikes a perfect balance between chic and cozy, giving the place a welcoming vibe. I love their commitment to using the highest quality meats and veggies, and it definitely shines through in the flavor of the food.
Brunch here was a wonderful--I ordered the EGGS YOUR STYLE, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Normally, this dish can be bland and super greasy elsewhere, but here, every bite was bursting with flavor, down to the perfectly seasoned arugula. I felt nourished and light, not weighed down with grease like I usually do at other spots. Not to mention I polished off that entire plate!
This restaurant review will get more updates because because I just can't get enough of this place! It's easily become one of my favorites.
My Review from 5mo ago: 5 stars across the board
I am currently dealing with a couple of health issues and needed to find a place to eat that is highly health-conscious. My husband discovered this restaurant, and I am truly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Initially, the prices seemed quite high in my opinion. However, after perusing their website and realizing that the ingredients are organic, and the meats are pasture-raised, it all made sense. Typically, I'm someone who appreciates a good deal, but because of the high-quality ingredients used in their food, I am willing to spend a little more here. This time, I tried the chicken salad sandwich, and it was truly indescribable. The flavor was out of this world. There are very few places I eat at where I don't need to ask for hot sauce because the flavor isn't where I need to be. This was the first place in a long time where I didn't need my hot sauce because the flavor was just perfect the way it was served. The decor is beautiful inside, but we did take out. This is my new favorite spot so I will be sure to post updates on the additional...
Read moreI’m kinda hesitant to give The Well 5 stars and I don’t really know why. Read on to observe my random thoughts of this place.
We came here with my parents and our waitress was super sweet. I liked that they had outside seating options. Dinner is a quieter time to come. I guess lunch gets pretty crazy.
We ordered the credo queso - labelled local cashew queso on the menu. When I tried it I thought it tasted like the kind I bought from the store- and I was actually right! I just realized that it’s sold on Instacart for like $6. Anyway, kind of strange for them to sell it for $13 but I guess they’re being up front about it.
We also ordered the lettuce wraps, coconut curry squash and mushroom tacos. Everything was tasty and fresh. It is clear that all of the food is very “clean”, but at the same time it’s not very complex and I think it would be pretty easy to re-create many of the vegetarian dishes at home for a fraction of the cost. But who am I to judge a restaurant for offering healthy food? I think it’s great that there are more healthy alternatives coming in.
At the same time, they also offer beef and alcohol- clean of course. Sometimes I feel like I’m harder on the restaurants that sell themselves as “healthy” because I hold them to a higher level of judgement. Really what I should be doing is applauding them for existing when you have way too much processed and shitty food being served to people.
So I will stick with 4 stars. The food is clean and healthy (if you stick to vegetarian, and vegan since they don’t serve dairy, in my opinion) which is a plus but it’s also...
Read moreMy friend and I recently visited The Well, and we were both thoroughly impressed. Their menu offers a great variety of choices, including many healthy options, which made it easy to find something fresh and satisfying.
The service was truly outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuine — and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere, both inside and outside, is absolutely lovely, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal.
Although I’m not vegan, I decided to try the vegan Caesar salad, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. It was so good that I would definitely order it again. We also enjoyed some drinks: the mimosas were excellent — not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. I did try the espresso martini, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but still well-made; it just wasn’t my personal preference.
The bacon was another highlight — thick, meaty, and cooked exactly the way I like it, served in three perfect pieces. My friend ordered the salmon with avocado on bread, which was beautifully presented and equally delicious. She loved it.
Overall, I would highly recommend The Well for a meal with friends or family, or for anyone looking for a lighter, healthier dining option in a beautiful setting. It's a real gem, and we definitely need more...
