I was excited to try this food, I was excited when I sat down and after I received the food; things just seemed weird. In vacation, first time here. I recommend going when the sun goes down so you can see the lights. Very pretty and gives great ambiance. They have inside and outdoor seating. The inside is cold, they do have fans on if you sit outside in the heat. This is a family friendly restaurant. They do offer alcoholic beverages and regular drinks. The drinks were not expensive, and neither was the food. I think I spent right around $35-$40 for two meals including drinks. You have to use your phone to get the menu. We ordered tenders and bone in. First thing I noticed was there wasn’t ANY hot sauce bottles on any table only ketchup. Thought this was weird for a fried chicken place in any part of Texas. There is a spice level for the chicken, it kind of reminds me of the Nashville hot chicken. It’s like a seasoning rub that’s used so the chicken isn’t wet in a sauce. The sauces actually comes on the side. However, they did have a hot honey which was tasty but didn’t give the hot sauce type of hot I was looking for. Eating the chicken I noticed the skin was thick and not cooked fully because it was still kind of wet and sticky under the outside coating. The wet sticky part could be felt on the actual chicken. The chicken was just barely done on the inside. I couldn’t eat it as I liked to. Of course I couldn’t have asked for fried hard but the way it initially looked, I thought it was fried hard. The chicken texture seemed in between rubbery and 2 seconds done after it being raw. Hard to explain in this fashion of explaining. I was ok enough to pick over it and eat the pieces I liked. The tenders were fried to perfection. No Nashville hot seasoning just regularly fried. The pickles that come on the chicken is sweet. They gave options of dipping sauces. After we ate, I watched a guy ( long blonde hair, not sure of name as he wasn’t my waiter) he was an Employee, he made me feel super uncomfortable with his actions that I was EAGER to leave this establishment. We are sitting on the inside to the right, which is in the shape of a square. There is me and 3 other tables with people there. This employee checks on his tables outside near us about every 3-5 minutes. So much that I start making eye contact and slightly raising hand to get assistance. He never stopped. As he’s coming from outside checking in his tables he comes inside as he has one table inside. We are sitting in a L shape and my table was at the top of the L. He checks on the table right next to me, skips the table in the middle goes to the end table then makes his way back to the table in the middle table. As I’m waiting for my turn to be checked on he simply leaves and goes back into the kitchen. After about 5 minutes get up peak in the kitchen ( because it’s no door ) and ask if someone could get my check ready. My waiter is there chilling talking about apartments. My waiter only checked on us right after we got our food then never again. I’m not the same race as the neither employees yet the other tables all were. I could only feel mistreated so I hurried and paid then left as I didn’t feel welcomed and it showed. Especially if my child asked about this when I never said out loud how I was feeling. Could have been an oversight or could have not been. Instead of making it into something more I simply left. Probably won’t return. There is another location I seen off 35. Parking lot is a nice size where maybe 20 or so...

here is what you need to know before coming to this location:

they have two restrooms for both men and women Good sink good soap okay customer service but the strategic location gets slammed and can get very busy with very limited parking so keep that in mind

in fact the parking is extremely limited so keep in mind when you put in it to go order they would rather you take it to go to free up your spot for the next person as quickly as possible because this place can get slammed compared to the other locations even more so than others

despite that they can get to your order pretty darn quick and I got to mind pretty darn quick I find that this is the only place that I get any kind of fried chicken from it does not upset my stomach and I believe it's probably has something to do with Wade and do the chicken the way they fry it and also the way that they spice up the chicken to your liking

plenty of indoor and outdoor outdoor tables with linear TVs and a nice little atmosphere to take pictures with but the challenge is once again this place gets slammed with lots of students to go orders and can become very quickly packed before you know it I mean get a parking great but a parking's going to be 80% of your battle for this location also handicap accessibility outside is fine but inside there's no handicap accessibility really it's pretty narrow

fun fact it's actually used to be a different restaurant just a few years ago that serve some of the best breakfast

so ask for the food I'm a huge fan of just getting a boneless chicken thighs Korean style stupid hot so it's both ridiculously hot and flavorful along with lots of their pickles and huge fan of their broccoli salad which you can get for less than 10 bucks as a combo which makes this a very affordable option compared to most places

also plenty of options for the kids and family in lots of different options for tenders sandwiches and my Lord their sandwich of the month with their pecan combination is the most unique sandwich I've ever had quite possibly ever and so flavorful highly recommend this location all my friends and family also the special Asian fries marinated and multiple different kinds of sauces and spices with shredded chicken which is the only real option for really most affordable but will fill you up and maybe even have a meal to go highly recommend that item too

Last but not least a shout out to the customer service here who puts into hard work to keep up with the orders to just keep coming at this place while keeping a smile and trying to accommodate not easy

Last but not least the pies oh my lord their chocolate pecan pie is to die for I cannot recommend it enough but I've also tried pretty much every one of their other pies which are just as good depending on your palate and sign up for the rewards program and or app so you can put in to go orders easy for pickup and skip the line and accumulate reward points for free food and awards for...

Each item was neatly packaged in its own box, and the portion sizes were generous for the price.

O.G. Chicken Sandwich ($14.75): This came with a Mo'Hot all-natural chicken breast, coleslaw, bread-n-butter pickles, and Duke's mayo. The chicken breast was large, meaty in the center, and had a crisp outer batter. The Mo'Hot seasoning didn't pack much heat upfront, but you could feel a slow build afterward. The pickles were crunchy and flavorful. While this sandwich was good, we both preferred the Korean BBQ O.G. for its bolder flavor.

Side Szechuan Fries ($4.15): Topped with pulled hot chicken, Szechuan mustard sauce, sriracha hot honey, cilantro, and scallions. A good size for sharing--we can't imagine how big the full size must be. The pulled chicken was a bit dry and not spicy. When eaten alongside the sandwiches, the Szechuan mustard sauce tasted mild, and the fries weren't very crispy. I appreciated the flavors more the next day when I ate the fries by itself. I also recommend reheating them in the air fryer for a crispier texture.

Korean BBQ O.G. Sandwich ($14.75): Made with a hot Korean-style thigh, gochujang, bread-n-butter pickles, kimchi carrot slaw, and Duke's mayo. We didn't detect much heat since it was probably masked by the sweetness of the gochujang. This sandwich was juicier and more flavorful than the original O.G. The buns on both sandwiches were soft, though a slightly more toasted edge would have added a nice crisp. This one felt especially cohesive, with every ingredient working well together.

Side Coleslaw ($2.40): The side coleslaw was noticeably smaller than the fries but had a mild, zesty flavor and was served at a pleasant temperature--not too cold.

1 Piece Wing ($3.85): We tried the Dang Hot wing. It was on the smaller side, and a lot of the seasoning transferred to the slice of white bread it came with. The spice level was bold but manageable--glad we tried it on a wing rather than in a sandwich, as it might've been overwhelming.

Add-On Heavenly Egg ($2.40): A creamy, zesty Creole-style deviled egg topped with candied bacon. Absolutely delicious. The egg was soft, the filling was light and well-seasoned, and the bacon was crisp without...

Rating: 4.4/5 [Postmates Delivery] Each item was neatly packaged in its own box, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The egg was soft, the filling was light and well-seasoned, and the bacon was crisp without being overly dry.
