Firstly, this was less of a tour and more of going for a paddle with a new friend. A couple of hours before the tour, some weather rolled in and it got windy and rainy. I called Ben, and he assured me that the wind was coming from the south and we could hug the South shore and it would be fine. So, we went for it because being from Oregon we do everything in the rain. By the time we got on the water, the weather was gone, and Ben said it was one of the best nights he’s been on the water in all the time he lived in Texas. He helped us get in and out of the boat and was very caring about our experience. We had forgotten to bring water so when we got to the Congress bridge, then hopped out and went and bought us some waters while we watched the bats. I highly recommend this tour because of Ben, because the proceeds go to a good cause and because being on the water at night was extremely peaceful and serene.

From May 18, 2024....I just returned from an incredible night kayaking on Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake with Ben Kvanli's Austin Glow glass-bottom boats! It was truly an amazing unforgettable experience! We were on the water for about three hours, surrounded by a stunning lit backdrop of the Austin skyline! It was so peaceful and serene to be paddling against an amazingly cool summer breeze leaving with views of a colorful sunset and returning under the stars and moon! Recommended not just for out of town tourists, but even local native Austinites can appreciate and capture the beauty of Austin in a whole new light!

Tried something new with my fiancé, and can confidently say we have a new hobby. This was super relaxing and exciting at the same time. We will be back 10000%. Ben was not only an informative, helpful, & thoughtful host, but a great person with great conversation, a good heart, and sooo many interesting stories to tell. 10/10.
