⭐️☆☆☆☆ (1 Star – would give 0 if possible) 9/7/2025
I write honest reviews, and a place has to earn a good one with the service they provide from start to finish. Unfortunately, this Wendy’s on Slaughter Lane completely failed.
When we walked in, the employees were just standing around talking since there were no customers inside or in the drive-thru. So, they took a minute to take our order. That should’ve been our first red flag. When our food came out, they gave us only two napkins in the bag and no ketchup. When we asked, we were told they didn’t have any. For a well-established chain like Wendy’s, that’s unacceptable-especially with Sam’s right around the corner. They double-checked and confirmed they were out, but didn’t even try to resolve it.
We ordered dine-in, yet our food was brought in bags, which felt like they just didn’t want to bother cleaning trays. When I went back to ask for more napkins, they only handed me one. To make things worse, instead of fresh lettuce, they used some wilted spring mix that looked like it was pulled straight from a salad bag. It looked terrible, as you can see in the picture.
I’ve been to this location before under different management, and it was much better. Now, it’s gone completely downhill. One star, but if I could give zero, I would. Definitely not recommending...
Read moreThis review covers a few things... I've been in this neighborhood about 3 to 4 years-and in the past year have noticed the following problems. I've no idea if there has been changes in management or anything but there have been a lot of problems at this Wendy's. Yes I have reached out to corporate but I honestly haven't gotten any form of response. (Going on 3 months) 2 stars because the food is usually always good. However- it's hit or miss with the wait times. Lately I've been given the response that they are unable to take orders due to system failure-they have closed early multiple occasions. One occasion I asked for a manager and they just ignored my request and closed the window- I happened to be really irritated that time- I've had bag clips in my burgers and sometimes -on a plus side for me but not the company- I get free food. They forget to get payment (almost a handful of times now) and I honestly just don't care to correct them anymore. The one consistent thing this past year has been the inconsistency. Hoping it gets better because some of the employees have it together and the food is usually good. Consistency and responsiveness would be a great...
Read moreI have never been one to post any reviews on a restaurant, especially considering I know everyone has their "off days" and in the industry things sometimes don't always come out correctly. When I order a burger though, I don't want chicken. My order was so completely incorrect I couldn't understand how... There was a small line in drive through and only 2 people (employees) in the dining room. When I had to go back to get the correct order, the lady at the register was very nice but the manager was very rude. I tried to explain the situation and even showed her the receipt of my correct order. At first, I thought she was about to make me pay for it again! I think not! She huffed, grabbed my bag, and before I could even sit down, she threw the bag on the counter and said, "Here!" Looking in the bag, I WAS STILL MISSING ITEMS! I should have known better and checked the burger but didn't. Surprise, surprise, the burger was still incorrect.... Man, who would have thought my request for a burger w no onions or sauce would be so complicated! Will NOT be returning to this...
