I had been hearing about this place for a looong time. I finally got a chance to visit Chocolate on Tap. I bought one large bar and one small cup of strawberries with milk + white chocolate. Don’t get me wrong- the strawberries were nice and super flavorful but… they were almost warm from being out and I am a huge fan of fresh , cold fruit. Cold berries with the melted chocolate would have made it so much better. I tried the Dubai chocolate strictly just to try it. It was delicious and the filling was great. It’s just hard to justify its price and the time spent in their (super long) line for what it is. $40 for one chocolate bar is a little crazy. But I understand they are profiting off of how popular it has gotten and how much people seek it out since it’s not available just anywhere. The workers were very nice and worked as quick as they could to fulfill everyone’s order. All in all- if you just wanna try something new for the heck of it- yes! Try it and I’m sure you’ll like it. Read moreThe chocolate strawberry cups were good, don’t get me wrong, but the ordering experience was a bit off. They charge extra for the knafeh, pistachios, and even more for the pistachio sauce, which I thought were kind of the main point of these Dubai-style cups. When I asked about it, the guy said he’d give the knafeh and pistachios for free if I left a 5-star review, which felt a little weird to me, especially since I’ve gotten all those toppings included at other places. It made ordering kind of confusing, and we ended up not even getting the pistachio sauce, even though I said we’d pay for it. Just wish the toppings were more straightforward or included. That said, the actual...
