I'm originally from a smaller city that does not have higher end retail, so I'm not as familiar with Bloomingdale's. I have been to the Aventura one and the one in Boca, but this one seems to carry higher end merchandise.

A lot of the clothing is designer and higher end, which doesn't appeal as much to me. They also have premiere designer boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more in this shop. I should point out bigger retail establishments of these brands are also located in the mall.

They do have a lot of nice formal dresses, so if you need something to wear to a formal event, this is a great place to check. Bring your bottomless bank account though!

I enjoyed checking out the women's footwear department, so many beautiful designer shoes to check out.

If you have money to drop on fragrances or high end makeup, this is your spot. The cosmetic section is HUGE here!

It was fun to browse through this store, but I feel like I can get more for my money at other retailers.

I'd pick Macy's over Bloomie's due to the better prices and good sales. I didn't spot too many clearance racks here, which is usually where I head when I enter a store.
