59th & Lex — Restaurant in Aventura

I'm originally from a smaller city that does not have higher end retail, so I'm not as familiar with Bloomingdale's. I have been to the Aventura one and the one in Boca, but this one seems to carry higher end merchandise.

A lot of the clothing is designer and higher end, which doesn't appeal as much to me. They also have premiere designer boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more in this shop. I should point out bigger retail establishments of these brands are also located in the mall.

They do have a lot of nice formal dresses, so if you need something to wear to a formal event, this is a great place to check. Bring your bottomless bank account though!

I enjoyed checking out the women's footwear department, so many beautiful designer shoes to check out.

If you have money to drop on fragrances or high end makeup, this is your spot. The cosmetic section is HUGE here!

I live 45 minutes away from this Bloomingdale's, but I don't mind the drive because they have the best selection of women's clothing and incredible service. As soon as I start, combing the racks for something, a salesperson is always on hand to help with a smile. Once the fitting room, they'll check in to bring you another size if needed. Brands like Marc Jacobs, Alice&Olivia, DVF, BCBG, Free People, All Saints are all here. The denim bar is awesome too. There's loads of labels to choose from like JBrand which I love to the famed fitting Rag +Bone. And oh my gosh the purse and sunglass section is amazing. There's LV, Chloe, Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch, Coach, Marc Jacobs, and you name it. You got it. The store displays also make it easy to shop here. I haven't spent much time in men's, but I hear they are expanding and it's one of the best sections too in the country. If you need a special outfit, this Bloomingdale's is sure to make it happen for you from head-to-toe and hey, finish off the look at one of the makeup counters with an expert. MAC & Dior...

After being a loyal customer of Bloomingdales for years at the Boca Town Center Mall, I made the HUGE mistake of going to the Bloomingdales in Aventura, the customer service I received from the "Business Manager of the Men Store" Lydia Riquelme was DISGUSTING!!! I don't know if anyone else got the "This is Aventura" answer but if I wanted to get treated like that in front of my wife and son I would've go to a Trump rally! Having someone like Ms Riquelme in charge of anything in a place that we pay TOP DOLLAR to receive great customer service is a HUGE MISTAKE!!!
