Continuous mistakes characterize this Domino's location. Twice over the last couple of orders they put cheese on pizzas that were specifically ordered with no cheese. This evening two pizzas were ordered online and one was selected to have no cheese specifically for a vegan family member. A text message received at 6:39 PM reads "Your order is in the oven." When I picked up the pizza, I confirmed with the Domino's worker who handed me the pizzas, that they put the Garlic seasoning on the crust because it had been omitted the last time I ordered. I was assured that it was. When I arrived home, I discovered that both pizzas had cheese on them so I go back to Dominos. The Manager showed me the ticket from one of the boxes and stated that I had ordered with vegan pizza with cheese and then showed me the order tag. I restated that I know that I ordered "No Cheese" on the vegan pizza and then showed the Manager that the ticket that he was looking at was the ticket for the pizza with cheese but it was affixed to the box containing the pizza ordered with veggies only and without cheese but was made with cheese. After they made the pizzas they apparently put the pizzas in the wrong boxes but "no Cheese pizza" was also made wrong. (Original order number is 266397 included 2 pizzas). The Manager agreed to remake the pizzas and I believe that he actually assembled both. When I get home, I tell my family about the remake and when we open the pizzas, we discover that the Manager left off the mushrooms. That is 3 times out of 6 orders in the last few months that the pizza ordered without cheese was made with cheese and had to be returned to the store to be remade. After discovering that the remake was also made wrong I chose not to go back for a third time but decided that I would follow up with a review. If I owned this business, I would want to know what is going on there. Making pizzas with 5 ingredients, sauce and crust should not be that hard to do. Tonight this Domino's outlet was not busy, there was no one in there but 3 workers when I originally went in to pick up the order and there was only one customer coming in to pick up a single pizza while I waited for my remakes (which I as note above, were also made wrong). Attention to detail must be a new objective for this...
Read moreJust wanted to order a pizza at 1230am. as they said they are open till 1am. However, since they had their phone off the hook and didn't take any of my multiple calls, I ended up giving my business (and $40+) to Papa Johns. Papa Johns actually still take calls when they are supposed to. UPDATE: Have Avon Indiana Dominos a second chance to run their business as they say they do according to their hours online. No go. Tried to order pizza again an HOUR before they say they close. Can't order online and can't get anyone to answer the phone, as it is off the hook. I bet Papa Johns Pizza LOVES getting your customers! Its just pizza. And it's JUST SERVICE. Which, it seems, Avon Dominos doesn't have a grip on. You've lost a good customer who liked your pizza.
Craziness. So they corrected some of the mistakes they made originally. Sent me some free pizza coupons. Which I appreciated greatly. I understand that businesses can unctuate depending upon their help. I gave them another try. They did great. So tonight I ordered a pizza and wings. I called on 5-21/22-2021 (just BEFORE they close) to tell them that they did a great job. Pizza was great. Wings were great. Guess what? The person who answered the phone did not understand a single word I said. Man. This pizza place needs help. I actually called to say "best pizza ever! And thank you." And the person on the other end said.."emm..I dont understand...err..you had problem with pizza? " I said "No! It was great I just wanted to complement you on a job well done.". She did not have a CLUE as to what I was saying. "I'm sorry, but we are closing. Pizza was ok? Came to right address?" I said... "everything was FINE." She said "ok thank you".
Please someone, rescue this restaurant from itself. There is no reason why they should not be able to receive a good review/complement, except that the person answering the phone 15 minutes before they close doesn't speak English. (And I have NOTHING against foreigners!). But if you are going to have them answer the phone, please make sure they understand the language. Smh. Good gravy. Can't even give this pizza joint a...
Read moreUpdate: I have had this location twice since my original review. One was delivery and the second was carry-out, both were good experiences and good food. I try to give places honest reviews in hopes to making them better. Alot of people don't know how much google reviews can help, hurt or make a business try harder. It appears this store owner made the necessary changes since my first review. I would recommend this pizza place.
Original review: Ordered a pepperoni pizza, they said it would be ready in 25 minutes! I went to pick it up in 30 minutes. I stood in the restaurant for another 25 minutes. Opened the box and it was sausage, so i told them just give me a refund. I really wanted to try their new stuffed crust, so tried again the next day. There were atleast 15 people, I'm assuming delivery drivers standing around doing nothing. The pizza was so undercooked I had to put it in the air fryer for 6 minutes to eat it. If you want a good pizza that is cooked in Avon, I...
