Great Wall — Restaurant in Avon

Contrary to other "Great" reviews I ordered a Spicy dish(was NOT spicy at all) and a Mooshu dish for ourselves this weekend. Their food is very blah basic cheap Chinese food. All the meat (chicken here) and vegetables were "diced" small like a premade type of dish. Carrots were undercooked, crunchy, chicken was hardly visible in the dish. Pork fried rice must of had the piece of pork passed over it briefly and it was dry and mostly porkless. The Mooshu was missing the more expensive ingredients you'd expect from a higher quality place. Yes they were prompt (pickup) and food was hot but mostly like a $10 All U Can Eat fare Chinese restaurant. Not to call out others but if you like their food you have very low bar...

This is by far our favorite place from which to order Chinese food. We often pick it up for carryout, but their delivery is usually quick, also.

The food is standard Chinese fare, but we think their flavors are far and above their competition. Customer service is friendly and efficient, and prices are commensurate with the quantity of food you receive.

They have a buffet during the weekday lunch time, which is an AMAZING deal. The biggest issue I have with them for the buffet is that the soda machine is almost always out of order. The buffet does not have a huge quantity of items, but what they have is fresh and delicious.

I don't know where to start. They messed up the order. The food itself was bad. The sesame chicken was just sweet and sour chicken with sesame seeds on it. The dumplings had a thick rubbery texture and they were filled with greasy meat (My daughter poured the grease on her plate). The sauce with the dumplings was bad too (Definitely wasn't plum sauce). The chicken fried rice (which was supposed to be lo mein) was bland and didn't have a lot of chicken at all. The egg roll was not crispy. I have no idea how this restaurant is so well-rated.
