My husband and I came on 2-22-24 after dropping my car off at the dealer for a recall repair. They said it would be an hour to an hour and 45 minutes for the repair. This was our first time coming to this restaurant. We arrived ant 11:30-11:45. And we literally waited almost the entire time it took to fix my car. Even though the hostess said the wait was 20 minutes. There really is no room for waiting either. We were literally shoulder to shoulder with others. And for those who were seated on the one and only small bench had people’s butts in their faces. We finally got seated after 50-55 minutes of waiting. Once we did get a table the “waitress “ took almost 10 minutes to come get our drink order. I put waitress in quotes because we never saw her again. Another person brought those drinks around another 10 minutes later. He forgot my husbands drink. He finally got it 5 minutes after, Our food was delivered rather quickly. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was grayish in color and watery. I ordered seasoned potatoes and scrambled eggs. The biscuits and gravy and potatoes were very bland tasting. The potatoes had absolutely no seasoning at all. The scrambled eggs were good. My husband’s French toast was good, as well as my orange juice. We got our bill very shortly after finishing our meals. Just before leaving I noticed one of their bussers had just finished cleaning off and help separate a group of tables put together from the large party that had just left. That same man had taken two coffee cups from that group of tables and put them on another table for use. He literally carried these cups by their tops. Mind you he literally just got done touching dirty dishes, silverware, glasses and coffee cups and dirty napkins with those gloves!! And he carried them with one hand. So his dirty gloves not only were on the lip of those cups, they were inside as well. No matter whether glassware, coffee cups or silverware was not used it all should be taken off the table, and clean items put in its place by clean hands!! Not dirty gloves! It wouldn’t of mattered if he carried those coffee cups by the handle. They never should have been taken from a dirty table and placed on a clean table. I have been conditioned to look for these things as my mother worked for the State Board of Health for 30 plus years! Not very impressed with our first visit. Probably...
Read moreSeveral issues... first, I'll say that we will never order from here again. Every time we have ordered for pickup or door dash, ALL of the add-on items were missing from our order. We gave this a second try, hoping that the first time was a fluke. NOPE. All of our add-on side items were missing this time too. This reflects a very poor quality check, and really shows the staff just doesn't care at all... The food... very small portions for the price. The food is EXTREMELY salty! I mean, seriously, I got a headache and couldn't even finish this tiny portion of food. I asked my family and they all said theor food was very salty too. Such a disappointment. The honey bacon brussel sprout hash... if you're going to put the ingredient into the name, it should probably be present in the dish. There was ONE brussel sprout cut into quarters. Such a joke. The chickichanga was missing the sour cream topping... I don't recommend eating here unless you like to get a high dose of salt from a very small portion of food that is missing ingredients. Note to the staff: Seems like training on quality control and basic reading skills to ensure people get what they order. Maybe ask the cooks to watch the salt - I thought this was supposed to be a healthier choice, but I literally felt ill from the amount of sodium I consumed. It wasn't just one item that was salty, everything I tasted was like sucking on a salt shaker. Sorry, I wanted to like this place but we will stick to metro diner, Ricky's, or Emmy's for...

Take the eggs it comes with and add them on top of the toast! The energy in the room makes you feel at home, even with the intertwined modern decor style.
What specifically inspired me to write this review is our server Kayla (I hope that's right!) from this morning. When we received our food, one person at our table did not. That's my partner, and he has a serious peanut/tree nut allergy. Kayla informed us that when she herself saw a kitchen employee handling his food without care to allergens (she specifically said the spot where the food was being prepared), she made them put the food back and start over. It might seem like a small favor, but was actually a huge blessing. It's hard to come into a restaurant with (or with someone who has) food allergies and feel completely relaxed about it. How do you REALLY know they're back there in the kitchen with safe practices? It was Kayla who went above and beyond for my partner so we could feel unbridled excitement and full enjoyment to eat our food - no anxiety.
Thank you First Watch for picking out qualified, caring employees who know how to make the difference, and thanks Kayla, you...
