Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Avondale

I really hope the franchise owners are reading these. Who's idea it was to move locations and then switch over to a combo deal where BOTH businesses are terrible and sinking fast, I hope you are fixing this sinking ship quickly. The staff of teens unfortunately are not doing you any favors. The ice and water shop that now take over your old location are getting more business with their Thrifty ice cream than your small 10 flavor shop. Heck, Albertsons has more baskin Robbins flavors than here. All ice cream I get has been melted at 1 point and then refrozen so it's ice damaged and crunchy.

UPDATE: Under new ownership apparently. Went in on Wednesday, prepackaged freezer was empty and off. This is normally their restocking day but the girls behind the counter said they havent been restocked in a while. Had to get pre packed quarts from the back. Got home and all 6 of them had melted and been refrozen, so ice damaged and crunchy. Thus far, new ownership is not turning out well. The 16 on hand flavors were almost gone and were ice damaged as well.

UPDATE JULY: Had constant issue of never getting the amount I paid for. I get hand packed quarts which the crew never fill due to the amount of labor involved. Pay for 1.5lbs and I always got .8lbs or less when measuring at home. Finally reported them to corporate due to this blatant theft. Got a call the next day from the "New" manager of this location. Promised change and that he trained them to put initals and weight, but weeks later still got less than paid for and no weighing. Finally after a month of complaints, I started getting correct weights. However now, I have to SPECIFICALLY ask them to weight it or most of the time they don't. I get snickering and side eyes between employees when I do this which puts me in an...

For this place being rather new it was very dirty inside. All the counters needed a good wipe down and the floor needed to be swept. They were out of a lot of fixing for the ice cream sundaes also the person making our order didn't even know how to make a banana split. They asked me what I wanted on it and what fixing I wanted on it. I just think that it is bad when you go to a place like this and you have one person working and another in the back cleaning while a 3rd is just making his own drink and putting about 2 doz donuts and then he did ring up a customer that had been waiting. Then that 3rd person left. Like I said this place needs a manager there to make sure this place got cleaned up and make sure people were getting help instead of having to wait for the 1...

What's better than ice cream on a hot day? Any ice cream place except this one. They literally had 7 flavors available when we went. And all weird flavors....like s'mores oreo and birthday cake ice cream. Gross. No vanilla, cookies & cream, cookie dough, etc. So incredibly disappointing. Ended up speaking to the "operations manager" a few days later and was told "we are a combo store so we are not required to carry all 31 flavors". Ummm. Then put the location back next to the Albertson's? That one was decent, had helpful employees, and usually always had a great selection.

Oh I was also told that the "store is being renewed". Whatever that means. Isn't...
