Come on guys, you need to do better. I love Del Taco in California but once you cross the border into Arizona, the experience goes downhill fast. I'm not sure why this happens. I've been to several Del Taco locations in the Phoenix area and have had similar experiences. I tried to order a Steak Torta. I was told that was a limited time item and they don't sell it anymore. I was looking at it on the menu. There was a picture of it advertising it! Whatever. I ordered 2 steak stuffed quesadilla tacos. I was charged something like $12 on the receipt. I asked why I was charged so much because it was about double what I was expecting. The guy said he accidentally rang me up for the wrong item. I guess there is a steak stuffed quesadilla that was a few bucks more than the tacos. The guy at the register didn't have the authority to correct this situation. He asked a couple of other people behind the counter if they could fix it and they couldn't. The guy at the register handed me the difference in cash and the lady making the food asked me what I ordered. She made it and handed it to me without a receipt. Read moreI went in on a taco tuesday ordered quite a bit of tacos and a stuft taco quesadilla when we got home i served my Son, not thinking i have to open each taco well his tacos were suppose to be beef as they come well his tacos were spicy chicken with a sauce on it he's autistic and doesnt no any better but he started complaining his throat was burning i got up to check and they gave us the wrong tacos that nite he was vomiting. I called and spoke to megan the manager she seemed very nice and looked up my order cause the gentlemen never gave me a receipt nor asked if i wanted one anyway she looked it up and said she would replace the whole order she took my name and said when i go just tell them what happen and they will replace it. I was going to go inside because I knew the size order was not very considerate of other however, at that time, there was one car in front of me. When I ordered my three boxes that came with a mix of burritos and tacos, there was a long pause. I kindly reached out and which in return I was advised that it would be a 30 minute wait because “there are other orders to prepare”. Yes, I had a choice to leave but I thought maybe just maybe it wouldn’t literally take the full 30 min. When I confirmed I would wait 30 the minute the lady repeated that I was willing to wait. At this point I was made to feel like I ordered too much food and have become an I convenience to them. I did pull to the front and patiently waited which at 30 min mark i did get my order.
