El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Avondale

A very nice El pollo loco restaurant. Great food and great service. However the soda machines were a problem. All the different flavors did not taste as they should have. Their machine needs to be completely fixed.

Went through the drive thru and spent approx $25. First we were told to pull forward to wait. It took about 15 to 20 minutes or so for a salad nachos tortilla soup .and Mac n cheese. Was given 1 guacamole sauce even tho that was the only sauce we requested. No tortilla strips for the soup, 2 salad dressing containers but one was only half full and we were missing the guacamole for the chips we paid extra for! I stood at the counter inside with 3 other people and with 4 people behind the counter we were not acknowledged at all! After another 10 minutes I advised the girl who took our order that I did not get guac. She said "I know you did because I put it in there myself" what???!?!?! I guess in their restaurant the customer is never right. She refused to provide me with any and let me walk out empty handed. Got home food was cold! Guac was in there btw.... The container was half full of tomatoes so we didn't know what it was .. .

P. S. Worst guac I've ever had! Oh and come to find out when I called to complain about how rude she was ... I found out she was the manager.......

Bathroom was nasty. If I would have seen it before we ordered we would have LEFT! Dirty tables with cleaning bucket sitting on one. Food was bland, mild salsa was bland, pico wasn't exciting, rice had no flavor, chicken was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor, bean juice completely saturated my bowl. Food was so unappealing and not enjoyable so we refused to finish our food. Compared to the other locations (Avondale and Buckeye) this was very disappointing. There is a serious need for MANAGEMENT at this location. The music was too loud and the employees clearly don't care about customer service or doing their job. Especially when people enter the lobby!!! Welcome people and don't leave them standing there wondering who is going to help them. With us in the lobby and 1 car in the drive thru I'm sure they weren't that busy. Nobody walked around cleaning tables or checked the restaurant in a good 20-30 minutes. There was NO ice tea at 5:45pm. Tons of places to eat...
