From the very first bite, I knew this wasn’t just food—it was magic. Pure, delicious magic that awakens something deep inside you. Each bite feels like a celebration, urging you to slow down and savor every moment as if time itself wanted to join in on the joy. The birria tacos? Oh, they’re nothing short of extraordinary—a masterpiece wrapped in warm, tender perfection. The meat is slow-cooked to dreamy tenderness, infused with spices so perfectly balanced it’s like they’re dancing across your taste buds. And don’t even get me started on the consommé! This soul-soothing elixir is rich, flavorful, and brimming with layers of authentic goodness. Every sip pulls you deeper into a world where indulgence feels like home. Then there’s the birria pozole—a dish so comforting, it doesn’t just feed you; it transports you. My wife took her first spoonful, paused mid-bite, and looked up at me with eyes wide open—not from surprise but pure delight. It’s not just flavor here; it’s limitless flavor. Warmth, richness, depth—every spoonful wraps you in happiness long after the bowl is empty (and trust me, you’ll wish it never ended). And oh, the Carne Asada fries! Let’s just say my son declared them “life-changing,” and after one bite, I couldn’t help but agree. The carne asada is smoky, charred perfection—seasoned so authentically it practically sings. Paired with crispy fries drenched in savory goodness, it’s impossible not to smile through every single bite. Sharing? Optional. Devouring them all yourself? Highly recommended. Even the little things shine here—the chips and salsa are made fresh daily, light, crisp, and utterly addictive. And those grilled onions and jalapeños? Fire-kissed to perfection, their aroma alone could make anyone swoon. They add an extra layer of charm to an already unforgettable experience. Every dish at Leo’s isn’t just a meal—it’s a discovery, a story told through bold flavors and heartfelt passion. You don’t just eat here; you feel it. Long after the plates are cleared, the memories linger, bringing a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. If you haven’t visited Leo’s Tacos and Burritos yet, what are you waiting for you’re missing out on something truly magical. Come hungry, leave happy—and prepare to fall head over heels for some of the most incredible Mexican flavors you’ll ever taste. Trust me, your taste buds...
Read moreFirst time trying this restaurant. I was driving home from an appt and searched "breakfast (BF) burritos." Google Maps suggested this place. It had really great reviews, but I've been burned by reviews before, so I was skeptical.
Upon walking in, I noticed it was pretty busy and a small line was formed to place orders. Getting thru the line didn't take too long though as the cashier did a great job of taking your order and making you feel welcomed at the same time.
I placed an order for all four of their BF burritos; asada, bacon, birria, and chorizo. I knew it would take a bit to make the burritos, so I also ordered an horchata then stocked up on salsas (mild, hot, and fire) and verduras (onions, cilantro, and limon). The horchata was pretty good by the way.
Once fully stocked, I asked a staff member for a bag to hold all my little containers. He was also very pleasant and even teased about an extra bag fee for my condiments. (Don't worry, there's NO extra bag fee.)
As I continued to wait, I paid attention to the staff, mainly the cashiers, who never stood idly. When no one was in line to order, they were constantly in the lobby area checking the salsa bar to make sure it remained fully stocked and clean. You also saw them immediately clean off tables once customers left. I know for some pointing this bit of info out is unnecessary, but for a germaphobe like myself, it was a big deal!
The wait for the food was a lengthy one, but nothing out of the ordinary. The staff apologized for the wait, which was appreciated but not necessary. A wait time was to be expected since they make your food fresh. And I truly appreciated not waking into a place that has prepackaged burritos that are warmed up in a microwave. If you don't have time to wait, I do suggest you ordering online first so your wait time is shortened by your drive time there.
Once I received the burritos, which were massively huge and not skimpy on the meats, I rushed home to split them amongst my family. We all got a piece of each and agreed that each burrito was delicious and more than filling! This is saying a lot bcuz my daughter and niece are the biggest food critics in my family. For them to say it's good means the chefs did something right! Can't wait to come back and try other items on...
Read moreI am literally kicking myself right now. I have been in this parking lot so many times and somehow never noticed this place. After shopping at another store nearby I decided to take a drive through the lot to see what else was nearby. I quickly noticed quite a few people coming in and out of Leo’s so I looked them up real quick and knew I had to park and check them out. Right away I knew I’d love it. While the line was quite long it went quickly and service was amazing. My cashier not only apologized for the wait, he thanked me for my patience and had a smile the entire time. The menu is pretty small, but has some really great items. I knew instantly I was ordering a few quesaabirria tacos and consommé. I liked that the consommé came with meat or no meat options. They also offered Birria ramen, but I knew I also wanted to try a asada taco and a side of chips. They don’t offer guacamole, but do have a salsa bar varying from mild to spicy. It also held fresh cilantro, onions, limes etc. the location is small and pretty basic and felt a little crowded with the line and tables kind of mingled together at times. To me that’s also a good sign of how tasty it’s going to be because people are willing to wait. We were given a number and told our food would be brought out. They also offer to go with grub hub I saw or obviously you could order it to take home as well. Our food came out so quick and everything looked delicious. The consommé was a huge portion and I didn’t come close to using it all with my two tacos. When I say they were full of flavor that’s an understatement. So dang good! My asada taco was juicy, perfectly cooked meat and tortillas great. Topped with cilantro, onion and salsa made it next level. The location was clean, everyone so friendly and we left full and happy . As we speak I’m sitting here so full, but literally dreaming of my next visit so I can try their birria burger. You read that right. I’m intrigued to try it. My friend also ordered carne asada fries for her kids to share and they devoured the entire thing. Her kids range from 4-12 and they all were talking about how yummy their tacos, asada fries and beans were. Great stop and awesome service. Come check them out and bring some friends. Heck while you’re at it order me some...
