Hadn't been in for about a year and had hankering for a California Cobb salad and Clam Chowder. My first clue that something was off was the disposition of the young man taking salad orders. His energy definitely gave off the impression that he could care less. When it was our turn, there was no hello, just "what can I get started for you." I placed an order for 2 large salads (CA Cobb & Thai Chicken). The young man hastily moved down the line assembling the salads and looked annoyed when I modified my Cobb salad. We then ordered 2 large bowls of clam chowder. The total was a little over $48. The salad was consistent with what I'd been accustomed to, so no problem with that. Unfortunately, this is where the consistency ended. I thought my fiancé was just being picky when she told me the soup tasted sour. One taste of my soup and her opinion was confirmed. The clam chowder tasted as if someone had poured jalapeño juice in it. The soup had a very unpleasant pickle type taste to it. The potatoes were undercooked and, there were way too many of them as well as way too much celery. In two large bowls of soup there were a total of about 3 clam pieces combined. I would have called to complain but it's a 40 minute round trip and I was tired. Instead I think it will be another year at least, before I visit again. Read moreIf i could give this experience a zero star I would. I placed an order on the website for delivery. We never received the order from Cafe Zupas. When I called to check on the order and hour after it said it would be delivered, a guy answered the phone and mentioned that three door dash delivers showed up with a confirmation for our order. Picked up our order but never delivered it. He told me there was a phone number on the website that I needed to call to request a refund, he could not give me the number but told me it was on the website. After looking on the website I called back and asked to speak to a manager the same guy said he was the manager, I asked to speak to a different manager in which he handed me to another employee who said she was the manager, meanwhile they all thought I couldn't hear them laughing in the back ground. This girl said her name was Ellie and then proceeded to tell me to contact door dash a company I never went through in the first place and tell them I needed a refund.
I am now here as door dash requires you to choose an order when you need help and we placed our order on the zupas website. I am extremely frustrated with the service and the way I was treated on the phone. I would like a refund for the order that we never received.

Read moreThe manager Rachel was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I created our order online an hour in advance and then noticed an email around 6 o'clock that my order may have not arrived to the store due to an IT error however, my card had been charged and to please call the store. I called the store and spoke with Rachel, she said she was going to call IT and I suggested why don't you start the order so it's ready when my husband comes to pick it up and then call IT to figure out the payment. 1st of all she did not take the order correctly so my husband's food was never made 2nd of all once my husband did arrived there she was incredibly rude and demeaning to him! She set the 2 kids cups on the counter away from him and then sarcastically asked "aren't you going to take your kids cups"?. She was very rude in several other instances which I will be handling with the general manager and corporate tomorrow. I now show 2 charges on my credit card for 5 meals on 1 and 4 meals on the other charge. Great food however worst experience ever! This lady has no experience in customer service or managerial roles! A lot of people will not tolerate that kind of disrespect or demeaning attitude towards them, she is very lucky my husband is a professional...
