Read moreService was ok, not great…just ok…I had to ask for something as simple as napkins, that were no where on the table & the server seemed to not notice. Food was ok, none of it particularly memorable, none of the food served was fresh or hot, potatoes were hard, and lukewarm with no flavor, same for the omelette, everything looked to be pre-made earlier in the day & just pulled out of cold storage & heated when a guest orders. If not, then you could have fooled me by the way it looked & tasted. The blueberry cornbread was the same, lukewarm, didn’t taste all that great & WAY too much butter, that was NOT freshly made, the “million dollar bacon” is a million dollar scam, it tastes awful, too many different flavors going on & nothing that a 12 yr old couldn’t easily make in 5 minutes by just throwing together whatever they had in their kitchen cabinet & praying for the best. Please remove this from your menu, it is just an excuse to over charge customers for a whole lot of nothing, and it’s just insulting to a guests wallet, intelligence & taste buds. My guest ordered a sandwich & had the same experience, cold bacon & egg. After trying the food here, it boggles my mind how people sit outside in droves, waiting to eat there, they must not be well travelled individuals. Point blank, I will not eat here again, nor will I recommend to anyone I know. It matters not if management responds to this, my mind is made up, I don’t want anything from or to do...

We were originally quoted a 45-minute wait, which we accepted, but after an hour had passed, I asked the hostess for an update. Her response was that we were “the next group to be seated.” When I asked for clarification on what that meant, she replied that she couldn’t remove people from their tables. I want to be clear—I wasn’t asking her to do that, only to let me know how many parties were ahead of us. She didn’t answer the question, and after checking the list, we were still sixth in line. That level of miscommunication and dismissiveness from the hostess was disappointing, especially after a long wait.
On a positive note, once seated, the experience improved. The atmosphere was as expected—lively and welcoming—and our waitress was courteous, respectful of our time, and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. She really helped turn the experience around.
Overall, while the dining service met expectations, the disorganized and unprofessional behavior at the host stand affected the overall impression of our visit. I hope management addresses the importance of clear and respectful communication at the front door, as it sets the tone for the...
