First off, Blake's Lottaburger Corporate- Thank you for running your company in the manner of which you listen to customers & take action. A simple idea, yet somehow seemingly unfathomable in today's normal interactions with employees in any customer service position.
9 months ago I posted a review in which I was literally being turned away as a customer, cash in hand, because of internal store issues. Waited over an hour for just my burrito. I did not blame the employees, they clearly had their hands full and were giving it 100% effort but the situation wouldn't of been possible for anyone to fix. Without some major improvements at the store & some minor management changes- a store that should thrive was stuck.
As soon as Blake's Corp. Became aware of my review, which at the time I posted didn't truly expect anything to change for years, soon as they became aware they had corporate trainers within that week and store was completely a new experience within that same month. Freshly trained employees, improved equipment to deal with higher volume traffic, insides got nice and cleaned up/remodeled.
It's things like this that really build my personal commitment as a lifelong customer but knowing that my review after a bad experience was actually seen and acted upon really shows the type of company that Blake's is, and continues to work at achieving the absolute highest quality of service.
It also displays the amazing benefits that Google provides by connecting it's consumer to the person(s) products. Allowing communication that normally would never have happened and allowing the growth of a location that is my favorite and nearest my home to not just eventually dwindle out till out of business.
Thank You...
Read moreI am more than upset. I ordered online at 9:57 am and it said the requested time for pick up was 10:07. I arrived about 10:20 thinking I gave them enough time to catch up if they were behind. When I talked to the cashier she couldn’t find my order then asked if I called it in and I told her it was an online mobile order. Then she said, what was on it? I told her. Then she asked if it was already paid for..... I ordered online..... so I have to pay for it before the order is complete. So yes. It was paid for. Then she said oh okay well it’ll be ready shortly. 10:27 rolls around, two other people get their orders- at this point it has been 30 minutes since I placed my order. I finally get it and take it home. I open my burrito- low and behold. My burrito is unraveling at the seams. The ends are open- it is like they didn’t even try. For a place that makes breakfast burritos ALL morning I would hope they can roll them better. But wait, there’s more! At this point my burrito is on a plate and I am using a fork to eat it. What do I find, but a piece of black hair about 4 inches long IN MY BURRITO!!!! Not just in it. But COOKED INTO THE EGGS!!!!!!! Worst thing ever. It grossed me out so much I literally don’t want to eat anything now. I tried calling to make a complaint in hopes that the restaurant would right this wrong, surprise surprise, NO ANSWER.
So here I am. If I could give a 0 star review I would. I’m so much more than disappointed.
I appreciate that the employees are wearing face masks, but I’d appreciate if they wore...
Read moreThis is the second time in two weeks we have had a bad experience at Blake’s in Aztec. Both times we phoned in an order when we were 20 miles out with the hopes it would be ready when we arrived. It was not ready either time and an 20+minute wait was added on after we arrived ending up with cold food that had been sitting behind the counter. The other customers and myself were all told the “fryer was down”, which created problems with all the phone orders and the gal working the register was not trained to handle a problem like this. The employee putting the burgers together was struggling, as it looked like it was her first day on the job. The employee cooking spent most of her time watching the other employee and was extremely behind on the grill. She wore the same pair of gloves the entire 25 minutes I watched her. She went from putting raw meat on the griddle to handling the buns to toast them. Wouldn’t that be considered cross contamination? I had to ask for my order when I saw them out together the second burger. No body was calling out names and multiple bags were sitting for pick up on the counter with a full lobby of patrons. There was a very large open package of bacon sitting on the counter by the refrigerator. It was out the entire time I was in the lobby. The wait wasn’t the biggest concern, but the lack of food safety rules and disorganization and complete lack of training which led me to write this. At this time I would recommend driving past this location and choosing...
