Do NOT bother ordering absolutely ANYTHING from this garbage location. The service is beyond terrible. If I could give it minus stars, I would. Every member of management should be fired. Why?
6 weeks ago, on a Sunday morning around 8.50am, I used the mobile app to pre-order a sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. Not a difficult or complicated order. Despite it being pre-ordered, when I arrived at the location, I had to wait another 20 minutes for the food to be ready. This delay almost made me late for my flight. No apology, no explanation, nothing.
Tonight, feeling hungry, I decided to give them another shot. Dumbest move ever. Placed an order in the drive through for a large 10 McNuggets, fries and drink, with a time stamped receipt of 8.31pm. There are two cars ahead of me. I never move for 10 minutes. Then the first car leaves and there is movement. At least for 10 seconds, then we stop again. Long enough for the passengers in the SUV ahead of me to get out, go to the Safeway next door and come back with groceries...
I finally get to the pick up window, after 20 minutes of waiting and I'm told they've "just put nuggets in" and it would be another 5 minutes. Really? You've had my order for 20 minutes and you couldn't plan ahead enough to have 10 nuggets cooked? Seriously? I'm asked to park and wait, finally getting my food at 8.56pm, 25 minutes after placing the order.
I'm told my BBQ sauce is in the bag and I'm so annoyed I just leave and guess what? After eating the fries, I find no BBQ sauce in the bag. The final kicker.
Overall, any business can have a bad day. Two bad experiences, 6 weeks apart is not a coincidence, its catastrophically bad management.
FYI, unlike other truly 'fast food' places, like Chick fil A, the restaurant never apologized, never offered anything like a refund or additional item, nothing. The sad reality is that I could have driven to the next closest McDonald's in Farmington, picked up the same meal (probably with the BBQ sauce) and driven back to Aztec in the same time frame. Avoid at costs unless you've got all...
Read morePros: it's there, and usually open.
Cons: everything about it.
I mean...Aztec is pretty hurting when it comes to selection, so any open window is a good one. But it is still McDonald's. And it still sells mcdonalds' "food". And it doesn't even do that very well. Good luck getting a caramel frappe, or any ice cream anything after dark. Good luck getting them to heat up the ice cold green Chile before they put it on your burger along with about ten ounces of what can only be described as a frozen green Chile slurpee. Think bread pudding only instead of awesome and delicious, it's pretty much disgusting in every way. Oh and the extra small drink worth of frozen Chile juice makes the whole mess very, very absurdly spicy and it is physically painful to eat. So there's that. Then, there's the drive through window that you sometimes have to go back and forth on before it beeps them inside, and the bathrooms that are cleaned with, I assume, some sort of concentrated bandaid glue from the 90s, that burns your eyes and has a way of taking me straight back to the doctor's office when I was twelve years old and got my broken arm cast cut off just seconds before.
But we all know that I'm gonna be broke and high enough to come back tomorrow, and that they will be waiting...
Read moreI want to give a shout out to a cashier named Matthew! We arrived at this location and placed our order. We specified our sauces with the order taker. He unfortunately got it incorrectly. We paid at the first window and upon arriving at the 2nd window for food pick up. We addressed it with Matthew who acknowledged us and stated he would get it for us. The manager who was working this particular night ended up not yelling but in a rude tone-“Any Sauces they ordered are in the bag” not knowing the mishap with the order taker. Mind you he wasn’t in full uniform either wearing a street flat top hat. (Ok sir, your a leader and I’m pretty sure getting a decent wage to do your job and lead your peers) just blew us off. Regardless Matthew handled the situated really well and after the manager walked off- Apologized to us for the behavior and still got us the right sauces. Very polite send off and overall grateful he heard us out for something just as simple as fixing the sauces for us. Food was good and fries were not filled. Other then that...
