I was hungry so I decided to get a torta. I asked the cashier if they were fresh from that day and he said yes, and I paid $4.50. I went to my car and gave it a bite, it had no taste not even the ham had salt, it had 2 microscopic pieces of Mexican cheese, and tons of lettuce. I’m always looking for places that are open early since I like picking up food on the way to work. This mom and pop bakery is specially delicious. I picked up some of their popular pastries like the chicken mole and chorizo stuffed pastries and their Creme filled pastry. My coworkers and I loved it. The chicken mole was our favorite and the bread was light w lots of delicious stuffing. What we liked is that the bread wasn’t heavy and thick w little filling unlike some other places.
