Not impressed. This shop has been on my coffee bucket list for over a year now and we finally had the chance to visit. The outside exterior sets this shop apart from the rest…but unfortunately the inside doesn’t quite fit the vibe. We made our visit on a Friday morning around 11am and found the inside already pretty busy. Whomever was at the register yelled at everyone to get away from the front door and conglomerate away from the tables. The electronic menu board kept skipping from the food items to their logo, which was obnoxious but not what ruined our morning. The barista taking our order was rude and unfriendly. I felt we were annoying her and observed her treating other customers in the same manner. We ordered the veggie and chorizo breakfast wraps and were satisfied with the food, but in regard to our coffee, it was lackluster. I noticed another review mentioned a burnt flavor and I would have to agree. Overall just not very tasty. The interior was very small with only 5 round tables and people standing everywhere. The music playing was this loud and annoying EDM theme that did not fit the vibe we thought we’d experience here. We quickly ate our food and left. Luckily if you have the same experience we had, you can exit and head towards the sea and experience a beautiful boardwalk. Much more pleasant than the barista. We won’t be back for coffee, but if you’re looking to visit Bainbridge Island in general, I recommend the trip as it is a...
Read moreWell I wouldn’t know about the coffee, I never got my order. I sat in that place for 30 minutes while the two kids behind the counter talk to their friends either on the phone or when they came in when I asked what happened to my order they said someone must of taken it. The never even called my name on my order and I was sitting at a table next to where they cash out and give out the orders. When I brought that to their attention they said they would make my order but instead proceeded to make other orders while I waited some more. I got my money back, not only for my order, but the two bags of coffee I had purchased. This place was horrible. The irony is that it is somewhat historical since this was a place where Japanese had to come to come for registration during WWII. I’m Asian American and watching white people get served before me sounds like you really get the gist of history. If you are white, enjoy this place, all others I recommend the place up the road called Cups espresso and cafe. They had one young lady talking and making orders. She was doing the job that two people at Pegasus couldn’t even do. She needs a raise. If you go tip her graciously. I was going to spend over $50 at Pegasus and you lost that business. Also when the water dispenser is empty please refill it. Although the only people getting water was me, cause I hadn’t gotten my drinks, and a black guy so that sounds about...
Read moreGreat food with, definite room for customer service improvement. Visited twice on a weekend trip and during the first trip I was elated by the delicious blueberry scone, honey oat latte, and everything bagel. However, as a food service professional the customer service left a poor taste in my mouth. The counter person was distracted and leaning half over the counter. After a few minutes my coffee was called, but not labelled. I asked which was mine and was dismissed due to an employee group convo. After a total of 10 minutes waiting I saw a bagel sitting on the counter and figured it could have been mine, no one called a name. None the less we enjoyed our visit so much I came back Sunday and I kind of wish we hadn't. The service was way worse, but less busy. After we paid we waited while three other parties received their items. The counter girl (same from Saturday) asked my husband "what are you waiting for?" To which he replied he was waiting for our whole order. One item of which was the last available. This caused raucous amongst the staff as everyone decided they needed to be involved, except one who was entirely zoned out, glass eyed, staring at the wall. Suffice to say, they've got a good product but a poor output, making it appear as though they have no concern for customer service. Also- props to who ever made the scones sold on 4/9. Hands-down the best I've...
