I have been visiting the store for many years (almost yearly or more frequent), unfortunately the last visit was the most disappointing. I was told due to pandemic (which no matter what you think about what was happening ended a few years ago) they only carry prepackaged cubes at $6. I am not sure what is the weight of these, and how they are cut to make them exactly even for the handmade product. The shop assistants cannot provide samples (I guess apart from 1 samples de jour, which might not be what one wants). I bought walnut, pecans, when previously these were packed with nuts, I hardly can find a half of a nut in the cube. Additionally, the cubes are very soft, meaning the ingredients have been change to cheap version. Sad that such Bainbridge staple has deteriorated to hardy edible...

But the person before me and everyone that entered after me were greeted and offered samples (not sure if it's because I'm a minority and brown or some other reason).I really wanted to try some fudge and purchase one, but after one the clerk was done dealing with the person in front me me, they walked away and went on their phone. It discouraged me from making any purchases. Was really disappointing as I was visiting the area for the first time and wanted to pick up a few different chocolates and fudge.

It's a small business, as in space, so they are limited to how many customers are allowed in at a time abiding by the COVID19 state mandates. Which I am happy to see and appreciate. So expect to wait in line outside but it is totally totally worth it. Tried some new sweet treats that we'd never had, by recommendation from staff and OMG!
