The first time I ordered from them the food was really good. The second and most recent times the wontons had absolutely no cheese in them. They were fried almost rock hard and when broken up you could see zero filling. This most recent time it took them 1 hr 10 minutes to bring the food even though I live fairly close (this was also past the estimated delivery time). They were late, food was lukewarm, as I mentioned the wontons we're cheese less. The egg rolls were incredibly greasy and a couple were misshapen and falling apart.

Worst of all, they left out a main dish from my order. I was able to get it but it was another hour before it came.

Also, if you order anything like fried rice or chow mein, they leave off the white rice that is supposed to come with your dish but they do not reduce the price of your dish. If the fried rice or chow mein is someone else's meal and not being shared, you get screwed out of rice for your dish while still...

China Garden deserves a zero star rating! I ordered for the first time from China Garden on Planz in Bakersfield Ca. The shrimp and snow peas plate was half water chestnuts doesn't say it comes with water chestnuts. The intestines were still in half of the shrimp. Gross. This plate cost $12.95! I also ordered a beef and asparagus plate. This plate cost $11.95. The beef tasted like it was probably left over from yesterday it tasted expired. The asparagus was old, yellow and inedible. It was all floating in a pool of beef broth. I hope I don'"t get sick. I threw the beef dish out as well as all the water chestnuts about 1 full cup! Don't waste your hard earned cash here. The entire order was $30.+ including tip. What a ripoff....

Very quiet restaurant. Given that it's a small family owned. If you are there for some authentic Chinese food you came to the right place. Some people who reviewed this place are competitors and poorly rated this place. if I had to compare this from billies this place does a lot better when it comes to quality. I have been a local supporter of this establishment and highly recommend this place. If you are a driver and looking for work highly recommend applying here and show support. The owner is very intentive on making the experience great she def works hard given the lack of staff.
