Del Taco — Restaurant in Bakersfield

This Del Taco is now my new place to eat taco and other food that Del taco makes I always give a place a second chance and i can say that they have shown me how a value customer is i can also say that over the years the change that they made was good . Now I go in two times a week and I can say that even though they have a kiosk they still ask if you need any help and greet you. But I can say that I have seen some good things around this Del Taco. I like that every time I enter this Del Taco it is always clean inside and out It includes the restroom, dining area, and the parking lot, But i can also say that they are very friendly and respectful. And they value you. I have seen people try to get rude a couple of times but then seen the employees just handle it respectfully also I can say that as soon as a person comes in that is disrespectful they ask them to please try to be respectful are they are going to have to ask them to leave. I can say that the way that they care for their customers really means a lot to me and this is why I enjoy eating a peaceful meal at this Del Taco location. I will also say that I am very grateful that their employees are able to defuse a situation. Because if I have my children around I will not want them to have to hear anything negative while they are trying to enjoy their meal. I absolutely love this Del Taco! I go there for a quick bite or drink while I wait for the regional transfer bus. It's close and I especially like their new Strawberry Boba Sprite! It has real chunks of strawberries AND delicious flavored boba beads! SO amazingly good, it's difficult to just have one drink. I've been there several times and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I made a mistake and didn't check my order thoroughly and accidentally missed taking guacamole out of the asada steak fries but the manager was really nice and had another one made for me. I really appreciate the great customer service they have there as well as tasty food and drinks. The only complaint I have is I felt a little uncomfortable with some of the people in there at the time I was there, but they weren't causing any trouble so I let them be and they let me be. I met some very nice customers over the last several months, had some interesting conversations and the restaurant itself is very open...

DISAPPOINTED All I wanted was a quick snack so I wouldn’t be too hungry during a meeting. So I decided to get a quesadilla and some fries. When I opened the wrapper, I can see that the cheese was barely melted. I was starving so I had no choice but to eat it but I was definitely not satisfied. Today I bought a fiesta pack for my family and the cheese in my burrito was more melted than the cheese in my quesadilla. How does some cheese in a burrito get more melted than some cheese in a quesadilla? It doesn’t make sense. To make matters worse, my stomach started hurting after dinner today. I tried using the restroom but even still after getting out of the restroom, 20 minutes later my stomach still hurts. I’m so disappointed, I really liked Del Taco and so do my kids.
