Food- 4 stars Everything was delicious, starting with the bread, the daily soup, the chicken, and ending with the cheesecake. Everything was very light, not greasy, and still tasty.

Service- 5 stars The staff are all volunteers, yet they were so attentive and pleasant. Would've fooled me that they were getting paid top dollar for their services

Value- 5 stars 3 course meal with large portions for less than $20. Value can't be matched

Parking and venue- 5 stars Plenty of parking in the side lot. Perfect setting for outdoor dining as they have plenty of tables on their lawn. Unfortunately, wasn't able to look inside the historic Guild House, but great lunch experience on the lawn.

Recently had lunch at this quaint and historic downtown restaurant.The staff here including the chef, cooks, waitstaff , hostesses and dishwashers are all a wonderful group of hardworking volunteers . I had a delicious and superb Shrimp Louie which was the salad entree. The regular lunch entree was Chicken Delmonico served with rice pilaf and sautéed vegetables. The wonderful entrees are served after the soup, which was a red pepper soup. The dessert was chocolate decadence cake.Yummy! Freshly baked rolls are served with both the soup and entrees. Wonderful place to have lunch. Reservations are highly recommended. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 1:00, Tuesday through Thursday. The Guild House, is a lunchtime nonprofit restaurant everyone should experience. They serve an eloquent full-course lunch in there beautiful dinning room. A full-course meal includes: soup, salad, entree, bread & butter and dessert. It is a set menu. Menu changes daily. Today it was chicken marbella, simply delicious, the entire meal was scrumptious.
