Horrible experience ordering food online to pickup curbside. Ordered at 3:35 PM Sunday 6/22/25. Showed up @ 3:56 PM. Clicked Im here. Nobody ever showed up I called @ 4:05 PM and they said they will send someone out. I called to talk to a manager a girl answered and I said I am the manager I told her what happened I showed up and was waiting for 6 min I was wondering why it was taking so long cause I was there Two cars showed up ordered and got there food and I was still waiting to get my order that was placed 30 min ago by this time. She said ok hold on put me through to another person who he said he was the manager and I said I was told I was speaking to the manager he said he is I said ok why did I have to talk to and tell the other girl if she was not the manager. Anyways had to tell him the whole thing again about when I placed my order how long I was there in the parking lot waiting to get my order he said we have cameras let me check as if I was lying he said I placed my order at 3:35 PM they received it at 3:40 PM stated naik g it it was done and completed put in the front window @ 3:57 PM I then asked why did my order not come till 4:07 PM and now my food is cold he proceed to tell me they have a container that keeps food warm he talked to the front and informed them to check the front to see if curbside showed up. Never made me another fresh order or actually care about what I had to say. I just wanted an expiration if there were no cars in the drive thru and minimal people inside how come my food sat waiting for almost 7 min before they decided to bring me my order after they had no guests. 2 people arrived after I was waiting and ordered their food and left why I sat and waited still. He said nothing about remaking my order fresh or comp me a fry or drink or refund anything this is not a fast food I would ever tell anyone to go eat cause the food is good or the service is good or the employees are nice they were all negative and rude. I will take my money and tell everyone I know not to go to that fast food to eat or spend money. Go elsewhere where you're considerate and are welcomed to there...
Read moreOh my Lordy! I moved back to Bakersfield to be near my family in my retirement. My daughters are big into healthy eating and it's hard to find a "fast food" place that both my daughters AND my grandkids love. So when I took the kids out to give their parents a night out I was amazed that my grandkids had a place immediately that they wanted to go to AND their parents agreed to I was shocked. I have to admit (sorry) I was expecting a Vegan vegetarian place. The Raising Cane's place was astoundingly great! I ordered a small of fries but the grand's got the children's chicken dinner with the lemonade. And they ordered it themselves at the counter! My 10 and 8 year old grandkids knew EXACTLY what the wanted and were so proud to tell me all about where the name came from, how good the chicken was, and convinced me to go order another kids meal for myself! When kids that age know what they want, have a blast putting "Nana in the know", and actually eat ALL the food in the box....well, it just was a shock! When my daughters were growing up all they wanted was the place with the "yellow arches" and then only ate the fries and drank the 7-up! I paid for more food over those years that was thrown out than I care to admit! Thank you "Cane's" for making it a wonderful experience not only for them and Nana but being approved by my health conscious medical daughter. Nana now has a place to take them that we both enjoy. Oh, and that kids chicken fingers meal they MADE me order was out of the park...
Read moreI had an interesting happening at this location the other night. My wife and I usually order the caniac meal to share, because it offers six chicken tenders, lots of fries and a large drink. We ordered our caniac like normal and when we opened the meal, there were only 4 tenders. No biggie, I called the restaurant and let them know at which time the manager (can’t remember his name now) offered to replace the meal at no charge to us. Great customer service! However, we went back to get our replacement caniac meal, and again were served a meal with only four tenders in it. At that point we didn’t need another meal or any more chicken, but I called the restaurant and let them know anyways. They again offered to replace the meal, but I find it odd the same thing happened two times in a row. I think the person preparing the meal just got confused in some way and that’s why we only received 4 tenders on both occasions. Great customer service and definitely will still go to canes, just odd to get the same mistake two...
